Five couples got engaged on Love Is Blind Season 9: Ali and Anton, Kalybriah and Edmond, Megan and Jordan, Madison and Joe, and Annie and Nick. Patrick and Kacie also got engaged, but their relationship ended before the getaway. Only Ali and Anton and Kalybriah and Edmond reached the altar—and each couple left without marrying. Netflix’s Oct. 30, 2025 post-reunion update and Axios Denver’s Oct. 22, 2025 finale recap document the season’s outcomes.
Who got engaged on Season 9?
Five couples became engaged in the pods and continued into the season’s couple storyline: Ali and Anton, Kalybriah and Edmond, Megan and Jordan, Madison and Joe, and Annie and Nick. Netflix reports that 32 Denver singles entered the pods. These are counts for Season 9, not a measure of the show’s overall engagement or marriage rate. Netflix Tudum’s Oct. 30, 2025 cast update and Axios Denver’s finale recap report the season’s five engagements.
Patrick and Kacie
Patrick and Kacie got engaged, but ended the relationship before leaving for the getaway. Netflix’s retrospective describes Kacie’s early doubts and disagreements between the pair over timing, communication, and the ring’s return. Their engagement therefore belongs in the season’s count, even though they did not continue to the next stage of the experiment. Netflix Tudum’s post-reunion account recounts their split.
Which couples broke up, and when?
The breakups happened at different points, so “who broke up” can mean an engagement that ended before the getaway, one that ended before the finale, or a couple that separated before a planned wedding.

Madison and Joe
Madison and Joe ended their engagement before the finale. Their accounts of whether Joe’s later connection with Kacie affected the engagement were not the same: Joe denied that it did, while Madison described her own perspective. Netflix’s post-reunion update recounts the disagreement; it does not establish one account as an undisputed explanation. Read Netflix’s account.
Annie and Nick
Annie and Nick’s engagement ended before the finale. Netflix reports that they briefly continued seeing each other after leaving the show, then split again. At the time of Tudum’s Oct. 30, 2025 update, Annie described a serious relationship with someone else and Nick was single. Megan and Jordan
Megan and Jordan broke up before their scheduled wedding. Axios reports that Megan told Jordan she did not think they were compatible and that Jordan’s young son was among her concerns. At the reunion, Megan said she had a baby boy and was in a relationship with Paul, whom she met after filming wrapped. These details are attributed to Megan and the outlets reporting her statements. Who reached the altar, and did anyone get married?
Ali and Anton and Kalybriah and Edmond were the only couples to reach the altar. Anton said yes and Ali said no; Edmond said yes and Kalybriah said no. No Season 9 couple married. Netflix and Axios both report the finale outcomes. Netflix Tudum’s cast update and Axios Denver’s recap distinguish reaching the altar from getting married.

Ali and Anton
Ali and Anton were the first couple engaged in the pods and went on to the altar. Anton accepted the marriage proposal; Ali declined. At the reunion, Ali described concerns involving communication, lifestyle, and compatibility. Those are her stated reasons, not a neutral finding about either person. Kalybriah and Edmond
Kalybriah and Edmond also made it to the altar. Edmond said yes, and Kalybriah said no. The reunion recap presents their different interpretations of conflict and emotional expression. Netflix’s Oct. 30, 2025 update said they were on good terms after the reunion and both single at the time of that report; relationship status can change after publication. How to read the season’s outcome
For Season 9, the reported progression was five couples engaged, two couples reaching the altar, and no marriages. The stages matter: Patrick and Kacie’s relationship ended before the getaway; Madison and Joe and Annie and Nick ended their engagements before the finale; Megan and Jordan split before their planned wedding. Ali and Anton and Kalybriah and Edmond reached the altar, but both weddings ended with a no. These figures describe this season only, not a broader success rate for Love Is Blind.
Creator Chris Coelen described the experiment’s value in terms of trying, regardless of the outcome: “Whether they succeed or fail, the trying is the most enjoyable and important part for me.” That is Coelen’s view of the show, rather than a verdict on any one couple.
