The episode portrayed them as separated and living apart, but Richards also said they had not discussed divorce. Her comment expressed uncertainty—not a final decision about the marriage.
What Kyle said in the Season 13 finale
In a confessional, Richards reflected on the future of her marriage to Umansky: “I’ve come to realize that, you know, there’s a big chance that we’re not gonna end up together.” The remark came as the finale addressed the aftermath of their separation becoming public. The episode was filmed in early July, after news of the separation had been reported, according to People’s recap syndicated by Yahoo Entertainment on February 22, 2024.
How Richards described the relationship trouble
Richards told her castmates that the problems were between her and Umansky, not another person. She said she had wanted more from the marriage and that events had caused her to lose trust, which she had not been able to recover from. The recap does not identify those events, so it does not establish a more specific cause.
She put the point this way: “There’s literally nothing to do with anybody else. This is really just about Mo and me.” That is Richards’s account of the situation, not independent confirmation of every private detail.

What the “big chance” comment does—and does not—mean
Richards’s words convey that she saw a real possibility the marriage would end. They do not say that the couple had decided to divorce or that the outcome was settled. The recap documents what was said and shown in a 2024 episode; by itself, it does not establish the couple’s relationship status today.
