Timothée Chalamet performed three Bob Dylan songs on Saturday Night Live on January 25, 2025, when he served as both host and musical guest. What Chalamet said about getting to perform the music
In an interview reported by MusicRadar on February 3, 2026, Chalamet said he spent “over six figures out of my pocket” on the SNL performance. He recalled that producer Lorne Michaels initially told him he could host but not perform the music; Chalamet said he refused unless he could do the music, after which Michaels agreed.
