Harley Quinn Season 6 had not been confirmed in Kaley Cuoco’s February 2026 update. The available reporting through June 2026 still did not establish a renewal or cancellation, so the show’s current status remains unresolved. The cast and creative team have said they want to continue, but that is not the same as an official order.
Has Harley Quinn been renewed for Season 6?
No official Season 6 renewal or cancellation is established by the available reporting through June 2026. In February 2026, Kaley Cuoco said the season had not been confirmed and that the team hoped to make it. That is an update on the cast and team’s intentions, not a studio announcement.

The distinction matters: only an official order from the studio or platform would confirm another season. Statements of enthusiasm, plans to continue, and discussion of a separate project do not amount to that order.
What the updates say
| Date | What was reported | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| November 16, 2023 | DC announced that Max had renewed Harley Quinn for Season 5. DC’s announcement described the adult animated comedy and named Dean Lorey as showrunner. | Season 5 was officially renewed; this did not announce Season 6. |
| March 20, 2025 | After the Season 5 finale, TVLine reported that no Season 6 renewal had been announced. Showrunner Dean Lorey said the team planned to make more seasons, while also saying the Season 5 ending could work as a series finale if that turned out to be the end. TVLine’s finale report | The creative team wanted to continue, but there was no announced renewal at that point. |
| February 5, 2026 | Cuoco said Season 6 had not been confirmed and the team hoped to do it. CinemaBlend’s report | Her account confirmed continuing interest, not a greenlight. |
| June 17, 2026 | CinemaBlend reported on Lorey’s post about a possible Bane spinoff pilot co-written with Chris Marrs. The report said the studio liked the script, but next steps were unclear. CinemaBlend’s Bane pilot report | The possible pilot is a separate project and does not establish a Season 6 order. |
What Cuoco and Lorey have said
Dean Lorey after the Season 5 finale
In March 2025, Lorey said, “in my mind it’s not a series finale,” and that the people making the show did not want it to be one. He also said they “certainly plan to have more seasons.” At the same time, he described the Season 5 ending as a satisfying series finale if the show did not continue. His comments conveyed the team’s hopes, not confirmation that Max had ordered another season.

Kaley Cuoco in February 2026
Cuoco said, “We’re hoping to do it. I haven’t gotten it confirmed yet.” She described a core fan base and said that if the team could get Season 6 approved, they would make it. Her remarks make the key point plainly: the team wanted to continue, but she had not received confirmation at the time.
Does the Bane spinoff mean Season 6 is happening?
No. The June 2026 report concerned a possible Bane pilot, not a Season 6 order for Harley Quinn. A script reportedly receiving a positive reaction from the studio is a development step, but the report did not establish that the pilot was ordered or that the main series was renewed.

A reliable confirmation would be an announcement from DC, Max, or Warner Bros. Discovery that explicitly renews Harley Quinn for Season 6. Until such an announcement is established, the most accurate description is that Season 6 remains unconfirmed in the latest specific updates cited here; the available reporting does not settle whether a later announcement has changed that status.
For context, Warner Bros. Discovery’s pressroom page for the series lists Season 5’s January 16 premiere and weekly episodes through March 20 on Max. That schedule documents the Season 5 run, not a Season 6 renewal.
