How was the winner decided?
The five finalist couples performed in three rounds: a judge-guided round, an instant dance round and a freestyle. The result combined live viewer votes with scores from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, according to Good Morning America’s post-finale report.
The reports establish the placements, but do not provide pair-by-pair vote totals or a winning margin. They also do not support treating a round’s score as the final result by itself.

What did Robert Irwin say after winning?
In his post-finale interview with Good Morning America, co-host Julianne Hough asked Irwin what the win meant to him. He replied: “My sister said it best: Thank you for changing my life.”

ABC News’ season 34 schedule announcement said the season premiered September 16, 2025, and aired Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. Episodes were scheduled to stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. The finale aired November 25, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET.
