Cam Sullivan-Brown said he was surprised and “a little pissed” when Makensy Manbeck chose Chelsie Baham over him for the final two of Big Brother 26. He believed Makensy had passed up a better chance to win by taking Chelsie, whose résumé and ability to persuade the jury he considered stronger.
Why was Cam upset with Makensy?
Cam had finished third and needed Makensy, who won the final Head of Household competition, to bring him to the final two. After losing parts one and two of that competition, he could not choose his own opponent. Makensy chose Chelsie instead.
In a post-finale interview with Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross, republished by Yahoo Entertainment on October 14, 2024, Cam said: “Absolutely! And I was a little pissed, just because I think that Makensy didn’t make the right decision.” He argued that Chelsie had a stronger résumé and spoke well to the jury.

What did Cam think he could have brought to the final two?
Cam made his own case for why he might have been a strong finalist. He pointed to his social game, his relationships with jury members and his role in bringing Makensy into an alliance. “I think I would’ve done very well, because I played a very good social game throughout this whole time in the Big Brother house,” he told Ross.

- Big Brother the Game - Get Ready for the Real Confrontation
That was Cam’s assessment of a hypothetical matchup, not evidence that he would have won. The interview does not establish how the jury would have voted had he faced Chelsie or Makensy.
What was the actual finale result?
The interview reports that Chelsie received every jury vote. That outcome is distinct from Cam’s belief that Makensy should have taken him: his argument was that he could have competed well, while the recorded finale result came after Makensy chose Chelsie.
