How the event worked
Roblox’s April 8, 2025 retrospective describes The Hunt: Mega Edition as an 11-day event that was active around the clock. Its 25 initial experiences each offered quests to find hidden tokens. Clues could lead players who progressed further to additional games and quests for Mega tokens, which opened hidden levels and puzzles in the event hub. Roblox also names virtual UGC rewards including Fractal Wings, the Blanc Techpack, and the Cape of Fragmentation.
Roblox reported tens of millions of players at the event hub, without publishing an exact figure in that retrospective. It gave approximate audience shares of 26% APAC, 31% EMEA, and 21% Americas, with the data footnoted as of April 3, 2025. Those figures total 78%, so they are not a complete geographic breakdown.

The Mega Final had a different lineup
The finale was not another round featuring the same 25-game list. Roblox says the eight-round Mega Final used these eight experiences:
- Dress to Impress
- Super League Soccer
- RIVALS
- Blade Ball
- Slap Battles
- DOORS
- Driving Empire
- Tower of Hell
The top 10 players, selected based on their main-event performance, competed in a live final on April 4, 2025, at Roblox headquarters in San Mateo, California. Ryan, a 20-year-old player and live streamer from New York, won the $1 million grand prize. Esports broadcaster Mimi “aEvilCat” Wermcrantz described the range of the challenges this way: “The competition’s games were all so different from one another. The winner had to be adept at everything from soccer to arena FPS all the way to fashion.” Ryan said he “just went with the flow and had major fun with it.” Both are quoted in Roblox’s retrospective.
