Evanescence announced its 2026 world tour on December 1, 2025, with dates scheduled from June 11 through October 26, 2026. The announced run has now passed. Amy Lee’s announcement connected the tour to new music and a shared-stage idea with collaborators; interviews published later in 2026 offer broader context about Lee and the album Sanctuary, rather than a direct recap of the tour announcement.

What Amy Lee said about the tour and its collaborators
Lee framed the tour as an extension of a creative period involving new music, bucket-list performances and collaboration. She said she wanted to create a way to share stages with K.Flay, Poppy and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox:
“This year has been so inspiring in so many ways, creating so much new music, playing some bucket-list shows and working with so many artists that give us life. We are taking all of that fire and energy and inspiration and building it into an epic 2026 for our fans. Collaborating with K. Flay, Poppy, and Courtney Le Plante made me want to create a world where we could share stages together, and I’m thrilled we are going to make it happen! I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on, and I can’t wait for this incredible tour.”

The statement explains the logic behind the mixed bill: Lee described the collaborations as inspiration for bringing those artists together on the road, rather than presenting the tour as a standalone retrospective.
What the Amy Lee interviews add about Sanctuary
Metal Hammer / Louder: creativity and the album
Dannii Leivers’s July 1, 2026 interview for Metal Hammer / Louder is a broader feature about Lee’s artistic approach, the band’s history and identity, collaboration, and Sanctuary. It is not a report specifically about the December tour announcement.

The feature identifies Sanctuary as Evanescence’s fifth studio album and gives June 5, 2026 as its release date. It says the band began writing in 2022 and recording in 2023. Lee describes music-making in personal, spiritual terms: “Making music is definitely spiritual for me.” On the long gaps between albums, she says the band takes time to develop the work rather than releasing an album for a commercial deadline: “That’s why it takes years between albums, to really think it out and let things come the way that they’re supposed to come, instead of saying, ‘Well, we’ve got to put an album out, because of whatever commercial reason.’”

Ticket and charitable details in the original announcement
The announcement said general ticket sales would begin Friday, December 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time through Evanescence.com, following presales, and identified Citi as the official card for U.S. tour dates. Those are historical sale details, not current ticket instructions.
It also said Evanescence partnered with PLUS1 to direct $1, £1 or €1 from each ticket sold to organizations providing humanitarian aid and medical relief. That was the stated per-ticket commitment; the announcement does not establish a final donation total.
