Which releases are documentaries or based on real events?
House of Kardashian on Crave
The clearest documentary pick in this week’s lineup is House of Kardashian, a three-part documentary focused on Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Its three episodes arrived together, making it a compact option for viewers who want a documentary series rather than a weekly commitment.
Society of the Snow on Netflix
Society of the Snow is a survival thriller based on Pablo Vierci’s non-fiction account of the 1972 Andes flight disaster. The film depicts survivors of the crash trying to find a way home. It is a dramatized feature, rather than a documentary, but its non-fiction source connects it to the real event behind the story.
