Prime Video’s May 2024 U.S. lineup ranged from The Idea of You and returning series such as Clarkson’s Farm and Outer Range to a large May 1 movie-library drop. Documentary viewers had The Blue Angels to look forward to, while Freevee added a smaller slate of movies to watch with ads.
This is a historical U.S. release calendar, not a guide to what is available today. Release guides disagreed on a few dates, and a listing on Prime Video did not necessarily mean a title or event was included with a Prime membership. Check a title’s current page for availability and access terms.
Notable May 2024 releases
| Title | Service | Reported date | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Idea of You | Prime Video | May 2 or 3 | Romance film |
| Clarkson’s Farm, season 3 | Prime Video | May 3 | Returning series |
| Maxton Hall – The World Between Us | Prime Video | May 8 or 9 | New series |
| The GOAT | Prime Video | May 8 or 9 | Competition series |
| Outer Range, season 2 | Prime Video | May 16 | Returning series |
| The Blue Angels | Prime Video | May 23 | Documentary |
| Amélie | Freevee | May 1 | Movie; free with ads |
The date differences for some releases are reflected in published calendars, including Yahoo Entertainment’s May schedule and TheWrap’s Prime Video calendar. They should not be read as confirmed schedule changes.

The reported May 1 additions were a broad mix of older films. The release-year labels below are omitted because listings do not use a consistent convention for some titles.

How to read this historical calendar
The dates and titles here describe reported U.S. May 2024 additions; they do not guarantee present-day availability. Catalog rights can change and can differ by country. Prime Video listings span originals, licensed titles, live programming and events, and some content may require a rental, purchase, add-on channel or separate event access. Freevee was the ad-supported service, distinct from the Prime membership catalog. A release guide’s label does not by itself establish that a title was produced by Amazon or included with Prime. For a second combined-service listing, see DiscussingFilm’s May arrivals guide; Den of Geek’s release calendar also highlighted the month’s Prime Video titles.
