Spoilers for the ending of Attack on Titan and a reported post-credits scene in The Last Attack. GamesRadar reports that the film adds a scene showing Mikasa with Jean and their family across the years. The outlet reads it as confirmation that Mikasa and Jean married—but that conclusion comes from its interpretation of fan-circulated footage, not an official explanation of the scene.
Does Mikasa marry Jean?
GamesRadar reports that an added post-credits scene in Attack on Titan: The Last Attack shows Mikasa and Jean visiting a grave with a child, then returning later with children and grandchildren. GamesRadar interprets the sequence as showing that Mikasa and Jean married and built a life together. GamesRadar’s report is the source for both the scene description and that interpretation.
The distinction matters: the official film sources cited here establish the movie and its screenings, but do not explain the scene or identify the people shown. No creator or director statement confirming the interpretation is established by those sources. So the careful answer is that the scene is reported to imply a future with Jean, rather than that an official source has definitively named Mikasa’s spouse.
What happens to Mikasa after Attack on Titan ends?
The manga ending did not confirm whom Mikasa married, according to GamesRadar. The reported film addition makes the anime’s implication more explicit: Mikasa is shown returning to the grave with a growing family, and GamesRadar identifies the man with her as Jean. That is why the scene has been described as answering a lingering question, while the identity and meaning remain an interpretation of the footage rather than an official explanation.

Does The Last Attack have a post-credits scene?
GamesRadar reports that it does: the added sequence appears after the main story and depicts Mikasa and Jean at a grave at different points in time. The report says the later visits include children and grandchildren. The sources cited here do not establish whether the sequence appears in every regional or home-video version, so its presence should not be assumed across editions.
What is The Last Attack?
The Last Attack is a theatrical reconstruction of the two finale specials from Attack on Titan: The Final Season, not a new continuation of the main plot. The Japanese official announcement describes the film as a 145-minute, 5.1-channel feature released in Japan on November 8, 2024. The English official portal listing and Crunchyroll’s announcement give a 144-minute runtime, so listings differ by a minute. Crunchyroll announced theatrical releases for several countries in early 2025. That was a historical release plan, not a current guide to screenings. The official Japanese film page now advertises 2027 screenings in Screen X, 4DX, and ULTRA4DX; those formats are announced for Japan and should not be treated as available in every territory. - Reported: GamesRadar describes a post-credits sequence with Mikasa, Jean, a child, and later descendants.
- Interpretation: GamesRadar reads the sequence as confirmation that Mikasa and Jean married.
- Not officially clarified in the cited sources: who the figures are, or an authoritative explanation of what the scene means.
That leaves the scene as a meaningful anime addition to an ending whose manga counterpart did not identify Mikasa’s spouse, but readers should keep the reported imagery separate from an official confirmation.
