Connections asks you to sort 16 words into four groups of four based on a shared connection. Several words may seem to fit more than one idea, so check that each proposed set forms a clear group before submitting it.
- Yellow: Follow or chase.
- Green: Playing fairly and honestly.
- Blue: Traditional presents for children.
- Purple: Put “girl” after each word to make a title.

Why the groups fit
The yellow answers are verbs for following or pursuing someone. The green words describe fair or honest conduct, including “square” in the sense of being fair. The blue group consists of familiar gifts for children. Add “girl” to each purple answer to form titles: Gone Girl, Gossip Girl, New Girl, and Working Girl.
