What Christian Linke reportedly said
In a report published November 25, 2024, Gizmodo’s Isaiah Colbert said Arcane co-creator and writer Christian Linke described the scene shown in the episode as a dialed-back version of a longer original pitch. The report gave the aired scene’s runtime as 1 minute and 37 seconds. It did not give a runtime or detailed description for the longer pitch. Gizmodo’s report

Gizmodo attributed this joking response to Linke, after Necrit94 remarked that the scene ran for a while: “Yes. We got a slap on the wrist. League of Legends is going to be rated mature now.” The line is a quip, not evidence of an actual rating change.
Is there a longer cut to watch?
There was no confirmed director’s cut in Gizmodo’s November 2024 report. Linke joked, “It is probably on some French hard drive. Director’s cut.” That remark does not establish that a finished longer version exists or is available to viewers. The report supplies no later status, so current availability cannot be confirmed from it.
