What is the new series about?
Chester’s official description says the series continues the story of the Chesters and their team restoring farmland while working in collaboration with a biodiverse ecosystem. It is a continuation of the work introduced in the documentary about establishing Apricot Lane Farms and working with nature. The announcement does not provide episode plots, runtimes or individual episode titles, so details beyond that broad premise have not been established.

#1 Best Overall
Apricot Lane Farms says John and Molly Chester began their effort in Moorpark, California, in 2011. The farm’s current Our Story page describes it as 234 acres with more than 200 varieties of fruits and vegetables; those are the farm’s own figures. Read the farm’s account.
Where can you watch it—and how is it different from the earlier follow-up?
The 2026 series is reported as a YouTube release. It is distinct from The Biggest Little Farm: The Return, an earlier National Geographic special that premiered on Disney+ on April 22, 2022, according to D23. That special was a prior follow-up, not the newly announced series. D23’s coverage of the 2022 special.
