Why is Ty’s family connection sometimes noted?
Ty is Georgia Tennant’s child from before she and David Tennant became a couple. Coverage reports that David adopted him. In a 2011 Guardian interview, Tennant was asked about the unusual Doctor Who family connection and replied, “That’s exactly what I did, yes, and there were very few candidates available. Are their ages available?
Older coverage includes age references, but they do not establish a dependable current age list or all five birth dates. For that reason, this answer gives the names and count without attaching ages that may be out of date.
