As of October 4, 2026, the top ten on JustWatch’s U.S. daily TV chart are East of Eden, War, and Lanterns in the first three places, followed by seven more series listed below. This is a dated chart snapshot—not a definitive ranking of the ten most-watched shows across every streaming service this week.

What “biggest” means in this ranking
JustWatch’s charts measure activity on its platform, not total viewing minutes or audience size. The company says the charts can be set to a 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day period and count actions such as clicking a streaming offer, adding a title to a watchlist, and marking it as seen. The October 4 list is its daily chart, so it should be read as a recent activity snapshot.

How this list compares with other rankings
Different charts can produce different “top” shows because they use different dates, geographic coverage, title categories, and measures of popularity. A useful comparison is Reelgood’s U.S. weekly chart for September 24–30, published October 2. That list mixed movies and TV, ranking Backrooms, Unabomber, Monster, The Love Hypothesis, Lanterns, MobLand, Toy Story 5, Neagley, Promising Young Woman, and American Horror Story. It is context, not a second TV-only top ten.

Reelgood says its chart covers titles available on subscription or ad-supported video-on-demand services, excludes promoted activity, and assigns a service to a title based on the highest number of interactions. It describes its ranking as based on organic interactions by U.S. users on Reelgood. In its October 2 write-up, Reelgood noted that six entries were new, Lanterns placed fifth in its seventh consecutive week on the chart, and American Horror Story entered at tenth after its thirteenth season premiered on September 24. Those are observations about Reelgood’s chart, not national viewing totals. View Reelgood’s U.S. rankings.
Nielsen’s weekly U.S. program rankings measure something different again: its Big Data + Panel approach ranks programs by total viewers aged 2 and older. The Nielsen page displayed the week of September 21–27, 2026, which also does not match the dates of the JustWatch and Reelgood lists. Viewer rankings should not be compared directly with platform-activity charts as though they measure the same thing. See Nielsen’s Top 10 rankings.

Why streaming charts disagree
- Geography: A U.S. chart does not describe popularity or availability in other countries.
- Time window: A daily snapshot can shift quickly; a weekly list covers a different period.
- What is counted: JustWatch tracks activity signals on its service; Reelgood counts organic interactions on its platform; Nielsen estimates total viewers.
- What is ranked: JustWatch’s list here is TV-only, while Reelgood’s cited weekly chart combines movies and series.
- Service attribution: A title’s chart-associated platform is not necessarily its only viewing option, and Reelgood uses its own interaction-based assignment rule.
