What is “Changes” about?
“Changes” is framed around personal change. Contemporary coverage connected the song’s video and release timing to Puth and Brooke Sansone expecting their first child. That context comes from reporting, rather than serving as proof of private details within the video itself.
In an Apple Music interview, Puth described the album’s connection to his life this way: “It’s the first time in my life where the music is lining up perfectly with my life.” That is Puth’s own account of the music, not an independent measure of how listeners have received it.
