No. In the October 2, 2025 recap of Survivor 49 episode 2, Kele loses the immunity challenge again, finishes last, and votes Annie Davis out unanimously at Tribal Council. Hina wins despite a challenge disadvantage.
Did Kele stop losing in episode 2?
No. Dalton Ross’s recap says Kele had already lost its first three challenges before this episode’s immunity challenge. Kele finished last again, extending the tribe’s losing run. The recap does not provide an official season standings table or a broader competition record.
How did Hina win the challenge?
Hina competed with a disadvantage: its members had to carry 20 pounds of coconuts and cycle through 10 keys instead of one. According to Ross’s recap, Hina still reached the puzzle first and won, while Kele came last.
Why was Annie Davis voted out?
At Kele’s Tribal Council, Annie was voted out unanimously. Ross describes a gap between Annie’s confidence and the tribe’s plans: the others were targeting her, but she did not realize she was in danger.

Before the vote, Annie said, “I kind of don’t care if we go to Tribal Council. It’s fine. Let’s ship another person home and keep this game moving along.” Her confidence makes the unanimous vote that follows especially stark. Ross also records her post-vote description of the reversal: “she believed she was the puppet master when she was, in fact, the puppet.”
