The premise makes the film as much a police ensemble mystery as a crime thriller. Is it more of a police mystery or an action thriller?
The available critical framing emphasizes uncertain loyalties and a police-team mystery alongside the crime-and-action setup. If you want a story driven by questions about who to trust, that is a central part of the appeal.
