Why “Mommy Issues” fits this episode
The trial makes Agatha’s relationship with Evanora its central conflict: her mother’s voice condemns her, and the coven must decide whether to leave Agatha behind. That family confrontation is mirrored by Teen’s later appeal to Agatha about Alice. The episode links those conflicts without offering a simple explanation for Agatha’s actions: it shows her absorbing Alice’s power, while leaving the question of intent open.
