How long was Diddy sentenced to?
On October 3, 2025, U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Combs to 50 months in prison. The sentence also included a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release, according to NBC News’ report on the sentencing.

Was Diddy acquitted of sex trafficking?
Yes. The jury acquitted Combs of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. Those charges were not convictions. The verdict was mixed: guilty on the two transportation counts, not guilty on the other charges.
What is the status of his appeal?
The Second Circuit heard oral argument on Combs’s appeal on April 9, 2026. The Associated Press reported that the judges did not issue an immediate ruling and questioned whether the district judge had improperly considered conduct tied to acquitted charges when determining the sentence. What is known about time served?
Reports at sentencing said Combs had been in custody since September 2024 and would receive credit for time served. That credit affects the time remaining, but it does not establish a reliable present release date: custody calculations can change, and no authoritative current Bureau of Prisons release-date source is cited here. NBC 6 South Florida’s sentencing coverage reported the custody and credit information.
