After Season 8, TLC’s next preview still showed Loren and Alexei in Florida, raising their three children and spending time with other 90 Day parents. Season 8 itself centered on Loren’s surgery and wish to return to work, the family’s move to a Miami home, and tensions with fellow cast members. Those recaps and previews document the televised storyline—not every detail of the couple’s private life.
What happened to Loren and Alexei in Season 8?
Loren’s surgery and return to work
After having three children, Loren underwent what TLC described as a “mommy makeover,” a group of surgeries performed at the same time. Alexei had not wanted her to go ahead, but ultimately supported her, helped during her recovery, and assisted as the family returned to everyday routines. In its official Tell All video description, TLC said Loren became emotional watching her surgery, discussed body dysmorphia, and wanted to branch out into a career, while Alexei held more traditional views. The description summarizes the conversation rather than providing a transcript. TLC’s Season 8 retrospective and Tell All video description cover those storylines.

Loren also asked to return to work. According to TLC’s recap, Alexei initially reacted negatively because he liked having her at home caring for the children while he worked. They later returned to the subject: he apologized for his first response, and Loren reassured him about her priorities for the family. TLC’s recap
The Miami home and cast disagreements
Loren, Alexei, and their children moved into a new Miami home and held a housewarming party for fellow cast members Jovi and Yara, and Elizabeth and Andrei. TLC’s recap says the gathering turned tense after Loren asked Andrei why he wanted to move his family to Moldova; Loren’s friend Noga and Andrei argued.

A separate dispute followed at Yara’s business launch party. Elizabeth challenged Loren about what she had said regarding Andrei. Alexei acknowledged saying negative things about Andrei and said he wanted to move on. The discussion escalated when Elizabeth raised Loren’s claim that Alexei had body-shamed her. These are TLC’s accounts of the televised events, not independent findings about the people involved. TLC’s retrospective
What happened after Season 8?
In a preview for Season 9, TLC again presented Loren and Alexei as Florida-based and “busy raising their three kids.” The preview placed them among a group of 90 Day parents who had become friends, while suggesting tension could arise among the couples. This confirms their presence in the later franchise season and the broad setup TLC promoted; it is not a comprehensive update on their lives away from the show. TLC’s Season 9 preview
