Stonestreet made the news public on September 9, his 54th birthday. The Kansas City Star reproduced his Instagram announcement: “It’s my birthday and guess what I got,” followed by “I got married!” (The Kansas City Star; KCTV).
Where was the wedding?
Local coverage placed the wedding at the couple’s Kansas City home. Before the ceremony, Stonestreet had said they planned to host it at the house they were building in the Kansas City area. In July 2025, he told People, “Well, I’ve said we’re building a house to host a wedding, and we’re still on track to do that,” as reported by The Kansas City Star.
