What did Kanye West say about Elon Musk?
Rolling Stone UK reported on February 7, 2025, that Ye had begun posting on X the previous Thursday night. The outlet reproduced this post: “ELON STOLE MY NAZI SWAG AT THE INAUGURATION YOOOO MY GUY GET YOUR OWN THIRD RALE.” Rolling Stone UK’s report is the source for the post’s wording and timing.
What did “Nazi swag” refer to?
The reference was to Elon Musk’s gesture during Trump’s January 2025 inauguration. In a March 2025 essay, The Atlantic described Ye’s post as a joke about Musk’s “alleged Sieg heil.” That is the magazine’s interpretation of the post and gesture; it does not establish Musk’s intent. Public readings of the gesture were contested, so the post should not be treated as proof of what Musk meant to convey. The Atlantic’s discussion provides that context.
What else was happening in Ye’s X posting spree?
Rolling Stone UK characterized the wider run of posts as antisemitic, homophobic, misogynistic, and ableist. It also noted a post asking Donald Trump to free Sean Combs. That characterization belongs to the outlet’s account of the spree; the hateful content need not be repeated to explain the episode.

The same report said X had banned Ye in December 2022 after antisemitic posts and reinstated him about eight months later. His February 2025 return to posting was therefore being reported against a history of suspension and reinstatement, rather than as his first appearance on the platform. Yahoo Entertainment also published a February 7, 2025 report on the quoted post.
Is Kanye West tweeting on X now?
The reports cited here document activity in February 2025, but do not establish whether Ye was posting on X on October 4, 2026. The headline phrase “Tweeting Again” reflects the 2025 report’s framing; it should not be read as a statement about his present activity.
