What did critics say about it?
Associated Press critic Mark Kennedy’s review was mixed: he found the story and pacing familiar and languid, but praised eerie locations and some effective set pieces. That is one critic’s assessment, not a measure of broader critical or audience opinion. Kennedy singled out a possessed newsstand scene in which magazine pages flip frantically as a highlight.
