Plan for two distinct functions: a player or playout arrangement that repeats the audio and provides a stable video feed, and an encoder that sends that feed to YouTube. IRL Pro documentation describes RTMP/SRT broadcasting, but that alone does not prove it can take a looping playlist as an input.

Clear both the recording and the composition
A bhajan’s devotional subject or public availability does not, by itself, establish permission to rebroadcast it. YouTube’s livestream terms say the provider represents that they have the rights needed for the live content, including music licensing rights from artists, labels, publishers, and other participants. Confirm permission for both the specific sound recording and the underlying composition, including live-stream use and the territories where viewers may access it. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. If it identifies content, it may show a placeholder and warn the streamer; if the content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. A license may not prevent interruption unless the rights owner adds your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Archived live streams can also receive Content ID claims after the broadcast. Build and test the broadcast chain
The steps below cover the YouTube encoder setup and the checks a 24/7 plan needs. They do not imply that IRL Pro itself supplies playlist playback. First establish how your selected player will repeat the bhajans and deliver a stable video image and audible signal; then verify whether and how IRL Pro participates in that chain.
- Prepare the playback source. Configure the separate playback arrangement to repeat the intended recordings and provide the video feed viewers should see. Confirm that it can continue unattended and that its output reaches the encoder you plan to use. The reviewed IRL Pro material does not establish a specific compatible player, input route, or restart arrangement.
- Create the YouTube broadcast. In YouTube Live Control Room, create or schedule a live stream and obtain the server URL and stream key for the encoder workflow. YouTube explains this process in Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Configure the encoder destination. Enter YouTube’s server URL and stream key in the encoder. IRL Pro’s documentation describes RTMP/SRT broadcasting configuration, but does not establish a tested direct setup for a continuously playing bhajan playlist. - Set encoder output where available. YouTube recommends constant bitrate (CBR) and a keyframe interval of two seconds, not exceeding four seconds. These are general YouTube recommendations, so use them only if the selected encoder exposes the corresponding controls. YouTube’s guidance is at Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
- Protect the stream key. Treat the key like a password: YouTube uses it to identify where the encoder sends the feed and accept it. Do not publish it, include it in a visible screen capture, or share it with people who should not control the broadcast. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube and update the encoder configuration.
- Allow for upload headroom. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth with 20% headroom beyond the total stream bitrate. If using primary and backup encoders, its guidance says to account for both encoders plus that headroom. See YouTube streaming tips.
- Run a representative test before going live. YouTube recommends setting up ahead of time, testing the setup, previewing the feed, and monitoring audio and video. Test the complete playback chain with bhajans and movement similar to the intended broadcast. Check audible levels, the video viewers will see, the stream preview, and whether the playlist continues past a track boundary before scheduling an extended run. Plan for the realities of a 24/7 broadcast
Do not treat a successful test as proof of unattended continuity
A test confirms only the conditions you actually tested. Before depending on an all-day stream, determine how your chosen playback device and encoder behave after a network interruption, power loss, app closure, or device overheating. The reviewed sources do not establish IRL Pro’s restart behavior or the power, thermal, and network failover provisions needed for a full day of unattended operation. Monitor the stream and verify recovery behavior rather than assuming it.

Know the archive limitation
YouTube’s encoder guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not promise a complete archive for a 24-hour broadcast. If you need a recording of the full day, plan and test a separate recording or archival workflow rather than relying on the cited automatic-archive guidance. Common problems and what to check
- No playlist or loop control in IRL Pro: The available documentation does not establish that feature. Use a separate playback arrangement and test how it supplies audio and video to the encoder before going live.
- YouTube does not accept the broadcast: Recheck that the channel is eligible, the correct server URL and current stream key are entered, and the encoder is configured for the selected destination. Keep the key private.
- Playback reaches the end and stops: Check the player’s repeat or playlist behavior independently of the encoder. Test across the end of a track and the end of the playlist; a live encoder cannot make a stopped source continue.
- Viewers hear silence or see the wrong image: Inspect the actual encoder preview and monitor both audio and video from the playback source. Test with the same chain and content planned for the broadcast.
- Stream drops or becomes unstable: Check the upload connection against the total bitrate and YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. For primary and backup encoders, account for both plus headroom; test the network and monitor stream health.
- Copyright warning, placeholder, or interruption: Review the specific recording and composition rights, and ask the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting if licensed music is being interrupted. A devotional topic does not exempt the stream from matching or rights requirements.
- The 24-hour broadcast is not fully archived: The cited YouTube statement covers automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours, not a guaranteed complete archive of longer streams. Use a separately tested recording plan if a full-length copy matters.
