You can schedule several Malayalam movie files as one sequential YouTube live broadcast with OneStream Live’s pre-recorded playlist feature. Before scheduling: confirm rights and channel eligibility
Make sure you can broadcast every part of each film
Obtain permission for each movie and its soundtrack in the territories where the stream will be available. Keep the relevant licenses and permissions. YouTube’s live-stream terms place responsibility on the provider to have the necessary rights for live content on Google services worldwide, including music licensing rights. This is a summary of platform terms, not a determination of who owns or may stream any particular Malayalam film. Read YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party copyrighted content. It may display a placeholder, warn you, interrupt or terminate the stream, or apply consequences related to copyright strikes. If you have a license for third-party material, contact the rights owner about whether your channel needs to be added to its Content ID allowlist; having a license does not necessarily prevent an automated interruption. Check the YouTube channel
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Check eligibility and resolve any restriction before planning the event. YouTube’s live-streaming tips and eligibility guidance explain the requirements.

Check OneStream Live plan access
OneStream Live’s playlist help article lists the feature on its Professional and Enterprise plans. Plan names, features, and interface labels can change, so confirm playlist access in your current account before preparing the event. OneStream’s documented process uses files you provide; it does not fetch Malayalam films from YouTube or a movie catalog.
Connect the YouTube destination
- In OneStream Live, open Social Platforms.
- Choose Add Platform or Connect beside YouTube.
- Select the intended Google account and YouTube channel, then complete the connection flow. Confirm that the channel you connected is the one you intend to use for the scheduled broadcast.

Create and schedule the Malayalam movie playlist
- Prepare the movie files you are authorized to stream. OneStream Live’s documented input sources include your device, OneStream storage, and cloud storage. The files need to be available to upload or select; a YouTube playlist URL is not a substitute for the video files.
- In OneStream Live, open Pre-recorded Stream and choose Add Videos.
- Select the files you want to include, in the order they should play. Review the sequence before continuing: OneStream organizes the selected videos into a playlist and plays them back-to-back as one broadcast.
- Select the connected YouTube channel as the destination.
- Fill in the stream details, then choose Schedule Broadcast and set the event time in the interface.
- Review the scheduled event on YouTube and check the stream status in OneStream Live before it begins. OneStream’s published overview says pre-recorded streams can be scheduled up to 60 days ahead; confirm the current limit and controls in your account.

What viewers can expect from a scheduled YouTube event
YouTube says a scheduled stream may appear to subscribers as an upcoming event, where viewers can choose Notify me. That does not guarantee that every subscriber will see the event or that a particular audience will attend. Review YouTube’s live-stream settings guidance.

Choose live scheduling only if it fits the release
A scheduled live playlist suits an audience expecting a broadcast at a set time, potentially with the feel of a shared event. If your aim is simply to publish films or episodes for viewers to watch whenever they want, compare that with ordinary YouTube uploads and playlists. The live playlist workflow requires actual video files, rights for live and archived distribution, and a plan with OneStream playlist access; it is not a way to relay films that exist only as YouTube URLs.
