Not as a documented guarantee. Enhanced IRL’s Cloud OBS guide explains how to loop a playlist and shuffle its order, but it does not promise that the same video can never play twice consecutively. The distinction matters: the multi-video playlist instructions are for Cloud OBS, while IRL Pro is documented as an Android broadcasting app.
What the two IRL products do
Enhanced IRL’s “Several videos in a loop” guide describes a Cloud OBS workflow: add uploaded video assets to a VLC Video source playlist, then set the playlist to loop and, optionally, shuffle. The separate IRL Pro guide covers broadcasting from the Android app by configuring a stream connection; it is not the documented multi-video playlist setup.
What looping and shuffling mean

So, if your requirement is specifically “never show the same video twice in a row,” treat that as not guaranteed by the documented shuffle setting. The official instruction is: “Tick Shuffle Playlist as well if you want a different order on each loop.” A different order on each loop is not the same as an explicit no-consecutive-repeat rule.
Set up the documented Cloud OBS playlist
- Use OBS Standard or OBS Pro with remote desktop access, as specified in the Enhanced IRL playlist guide.
- Upload the video assets you want to play.
- In OBS, add a VLC Video source and add the individual files or a directory to its playlist.
- Enable Loop Playlist to make playback start over after the final item.
- Optionally enable Shuffle Playlist if you want a different order on each loop. Do not rely on it as a strict no-repeat control.
If you meant broadcasting with the IRL Pro Android app
The IRL Pro guide describes sending a broadcast, not creating a looping playlist. Select RTMP or SRT to match the dashboard, enter the publish URL, set resolution, frame rate, and bitrate, then start broadcasting. Those connection settings do not provide the Cloud OBS playlist behavior described above.

Troubleshooting a playlist that stops
- Playback ends after the final video: check that Loop Playlist is enabled, as the guide recommends.
- Videos play in a predictable order: enable Shuffle Playlist if you want a different order on each loop.
- You need a strict no-adjacent-repeat rule: the guide does not document that guarantee. Do not assume shuffle supplies it.
