You can run a continuous Tibetan meditation music stream on YouTube by sending a looping, rights-cleared audio-and-visual program from an encoder such as OBS. First verify your channel, activate live streaming in advance, and confirm that your music and visuals are cleared for both live transmission and any archive you plan to keep. YouTube does not offer a special “24/7” mode, and neither YouTube’s setup guidance nor OBS promises an uninterrupted broadcast, so monitoring and a recovery plan are part of the job.

1. Clear the music and visuals before building the stream

Rights are a launch requirement, not a detail to handle after the stream is live. Use music and imagery you created yourself, or obtain permission that expressly covers continuous YouTube live transmission. If you want to keep a replay, confirm that the permission also covers the archived recording.

  • For third-party music, check the license scope. A license to download or play a track does not automatically establish permission for a continuous live broadcast or archived playback.
  • Ask the rights holder to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube warns that a live stream can be interrupted even when you have a license if the channel is not allowlisted. Keep the license and written allowlisting confirmation with your production records. These steps reduce risk; they do not guarantee that a claim or interruption will not occur. YouTube’s copyright guidance and YouTube for Artists’ live-stream guidance explain the relevant precautions.
  • Clear the visual too. A static image, artwork, animation, or background footage should be original or covered by rights for the intended live and archived uses.
  • Choose whether to archive. YouTube says Content ID claims may be made after a live stream ends if you choose to archive it. Decide before launch and make sure your license covers that recording if you keep one. YouTube explains live-stream copyright issues here.

YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If it detects copyrighted material, it may show a placeholder and warn you; if the material remains, it may interrupt or terminate the stream. Copyright or Community Guidelines strikes can also terminate a broadcast. A visually calm stream is not exempt from those checks.

2. Prepare the YouTube channel

  1. Verify the channel and check its live-stream status. YouTube requires channel verification and no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Review YouTube’s live-stream setup requirements.
  2. Enable your first live stream at least 24 hours before the planned start. YouTube for Artists recommends doing this ahead of time so setup is complete before launch. If live streaming is new to the channel, do not leave activation until broadcast day. YouTube for Artists
  3. Create the live broadcast in YouTube’s live-streaming workflow. Select the encoder method and retrieve the stream key and server information provided for the broadcast. Treat the key like a password: do not show it in a screen recording, public post, or stream overlay. YouTube describes encoders as suitable for broadcasts that use overlays and other production elements. YouTube live-stream setup

3. Build a continuous program in OBS

OBS is one way to send the program from a computer to YouTube. For a Tibetan meditation stream, make a scene that combines the music playback with a rights-cleared visual, then arrange the media so playback continues rather than ending after a single track. A playlist can provide variety; a single long recording is simpler to manage. Either way, confirm that every included recording is cleared for the intended use.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
  1. Prepare the media. Assemble the audio program and the image or video visual. Listen through the full sequence, check transitions and volume consistency, and verify that the playlist returns to the beginning if you intend it to loop. The exact playback and looping controls depend on the media source you use in OBS.
  2. Create a scene. Add the media playback and visual elements to an OBS scene. Preview the result to check that the image is visible and the audio is being received by OBS.
  3. Connect OBS to YouTube. Enter the server and stream-key details from YouTube’s live workflow into OBS’s streaming configuration. Do not publish or share the key. YouTube documents RTMPS—RTMP carried over an SSL connection—as its secure encoder-ingestion option; using RTMPS does not by itself prevent interruptions. YouTube’s RTMPS documentation
  4. Set output to match the program and connection. Choose a resolution, frame rate, and bitrate that your source media and network can sustain. The sources cited here do not establish one universal bitrate, resolution, keyframe interval, or minimum computer specification for every broadcast; use the current values shown in YouTube’s encoder guidance for the chosen output rather than treating one setting as universal.
  5. Test privately or with a scheduled test before the public launch. Check that YouTube receives audio and video, the selected scene is correct, and playback continues through the end of a track or playlist. Confirm that the title, description, and thumbnail describe the actual Tibetan meditation program.
  6. Start the encoder and watch the broadcast. Confirm the live preview and audio in YouTube, then keep OBS and the host computer running for as long as you are using this local-encoder setup.

4. Choose how the stream will stay online

Approach What it involves Trade-off to plan for
StreamNeo cloud service Upload a recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key, and go live. StreamNeo loops uploaded videos from the cloud. The stream does not depend on a home computer staying on. StreamNeo is for YouTube and plays uploaded videos; it does not broadcast a camera feed.
OBS on a local computer Run OBS and the media program on a computer connected to YouTube. You control the encoder locally, but the computer and its internet connection need to remain available. OBS notes that dropped frames can indicate an unstable connection or one that cannot keep up with the configured bitrate. OBS Help
Dedicated computer or mini PC Use a computer set aside to host the encoder rather than your everyday machine. It can keep the production separate from normal use, but the available sources do not establish a minimum specification or show that a dedicated device guarantees uptime. It still depends on the host and connection.

For an always-on channel, plan for monitoring and recovery whichever method you choose. The sources do not establish a design that guarantees uninterrupted operation indefinitely.

Or let it run in the cloud

StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month. It is for uploaded videos, not live camera input. Start the free day with StreamNeo.

5. Monitor the broadcast and recover deliberately

Do not assume that pressing “Go live” completes the job. Check the encoder and YouTube’s received stream as the broadcast runs, especially after starting, changing a scene, or adjusting output. OBS says dropped frames can signal an unstable connection or a connection that cannot keep pace with the configured bitrate. OBS Help

  • If frames drop: check the network connection and whether the configured bitrate is sustainable. Do not raise the bitrate to solve a connection problem.
  • If the stream disconnects: check whether OBS is still streaming, whether the host still has internet access, and whether YouTube is receiving the encoder feed. Reconnect using the broadcast’s current stream details and confirm the live preview before leaving it unattended.
  • If YouTube interrupts the stream for content: review its warning and identify the matched material. Confirm the license and channel allowlisting with the rights holder; a license alone may not prevent an interruption. Remove or replace material you are not entitled to use.
  • If an archive receives a claim: review the claim against the rights and archive permissions you obtained. YouTube notes that Content ID claims on an archived live stream can be made after the stream ends.

YouTube supports RTMPS as an encrypted ingestion option, but encryption is not an uptime guarantee. A local encoder is also vulnerable to a home connection or computer stopping; a dedicated mini PC does not remove those dependencies.

6. Make the stream useful to viewers, not merely continuous

A continuous broadcast needs a coherent program as well as an active encoder. Give the stream an accurate title and description, identify the music and visual sources where appropriate, and avoid implying a live performance if the program is prerecorded. Build the playlist around a deliberate listening experience—such as a consistent mood or sequence—and verify that it loops cleanly.

YouTube for Artists reported that over 30% of daily logged-in YouTube viewers watched live content in Q2 2025. That is a platform-wide figure, not evidence of demand for Tibetan meditation music specifically; it should not be used to predict this stream’s audience. The available sources do not establish a Tibetan-meditation-music audience-size or performance statistic. YouTube for Artists
