Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteNo, not while it is live. YouTube excludes live streams from Super Thanks during the broadcast, including continuous 24/7 streams. Afterward, an archived long-form replay may be eligible—but only if the channel and video meet YouTube’s requirements. Eligible Indian creators can use Super Chat and Super Stickers for support during a live broadcast.
Super Thanks applies to the replay, not the live broadcast
YouTube’s Super Thanks eligibility guidance excludes “Live streams or Premieres, while live,” while noting that Super Thanks may be available on archived long-form videos afterward. The rule covers live streams generally; YouTube does not state a special exception for a stream that runs continuously for 24 hours or longer. YouTube’s Super Thanks eligibility, availability, and policies
That means a viewer cannot send Super Thanks to a 24/7 stream while it is on air. If the broadcast ends and YouTube creates an archived long-form video, that replay may qualify. The word “may” matters: neither replay eligibility nor availability of the feature is automatic.
What viewers can use to support a live stream
During the broadcast: Super Chat and Super Stickers
For eligible live streams and Premieres, Super Chat lets viewers highlight a message in live chat, while Super Stickers let them surface an animated image. These are separate features from Super Thanks, and access depends on the channel’s eligibility and live-chat settings. YouTube’s Super Chat and Super Stickers eligibility, availability, and policies

After the broadcast: Super Thanks on a qualifying replay
Once a stream has ended, a viewer may be able to buy Super Thanks on its archived long-form video if the channel and that particular video qualify. YouTube’s guidance does not explain how every very long stream is archived or segmented, so check the resulting archive rather than assuming a continuous broadcast will produce an eligible replay. Look for Super Thanks availability on the video in YouTube Studio or in the viewer experience.
Eligibility has two layers: channel and video
Channel requirements
India is among the locations where eligible creators can access Super Thanks. Location alone is not enough: the channel must meet YouTube’s minimum requirements for fan-funding features, accept and comply with the applicable terms and policies—including the Commerce Product Module—and satisfy channel criteria. A channel set as Made for Kids, or one with a significant number of videos set as Made for Kids or otherwise ineligible, may not qualify. If the feature is available to a channel, the Supers tab appears under Earn in YouTube Studio. YouTube’s Super Thanks eligibility, availability, and policies

YouTube’s current monetization overview lists these YPP thresholds (page accessed 2026):
| Listed YPP tier | Subscriber and activity threshold | Watch-time or Shorts-view threshold |
|---|---|---|
| Expanded YPP tier | 500 subscribers and 3 public uploads in the last 90 days | Either 3,000 qualified long-form watch hours in the last 365 days or 3 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days |
| Higher YPP tier | 1,000 subscribers | Either 4,000 qualified long-form watch hours in the last 365 days or 10 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days |
These are the thresholds listed for YPP tiers, not a guarantee of Super Thanks access. YouTube says each monetization feature has its own eligibility requirements. YouTube’s monetization overview

Individual video requirements
Even when a channel has access, a particular replay can be excluded. YouTube lists these ineligible video conditions for Super Thanks:
- The video is age-restricted, unlisted, or private.
- The video is set as Made for Kids.
- The video has a copyright claim.
- The video is associated with a YouTube Giving fundraiser.
- Comments are turned off.
- The content is a live stream or Premiere that is still live.

What creators receive—and what Super Thanks is not
YouTube says creators receive 70% of Super Thanks revenue recognized by Google after local sales tax and applicable App Store fees on iOS are deducted. YouTube currently covers transaction costs, including credit-card fees. This is YouTube’s general calculation; it does not establish a specific net amount for a creator in India, since transaction-specific tax and billing details affect the result. YouTube also states that Super Thanks is not a crowdfunding or donation tool. Creators are responsible for understanding laws that apply to them and their activities. YouTube’s Super Thanks eligibility, availability, and policies

Or let it run in the cloud
If you are setting up a YouTube channel to run uploaded recordings as a 24/7 stream, the streaming setup is separate from whether YouTube enables Supers. StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload a recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Each slot streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. This does not make a live broadcast eligible for Super Thanks, and it does not guarantee the resulting replay will qualify.
