Check which AWS entity bills your account
AWS says accounts opened with Indian contact and billing addresses are contracted with Amazon Web Services India Private Limited, and AWS India invoices show totals in INR. AWS also requires identity information for India-based contact or billing addresses to be collected and validated before access to AWS services is granted.

Check the seller of record on your AWS billing documents or in your account’s billing information before choosing a payment method. If another AWS entity bills you, follow the payment options and terms shown for that account rather than assuming the India-specific methods below are available.
Payment methods for AWS India bills

Payment options are governed by the billing entity and account setup. The INR 15,000 limit is specifically the documented ceiling for eligible card e-mandates; it is not a stated cap on AWS usage or on all payment methods.

Paying manually or setting up automatic payment
For a one-time payment
Open the AWS Billing and Cost Management area, select the invoice or payment option for the outstanding bill, and choose a method offered for your AWS account. Use net banking, UPI or a supported card if available. Follow the confirmation shown by AWS and your bank or payment provider, then check the invoice status in Billing.
For automatic payments
In the AWS billing payment settings, check whether your account offers an eligible card e-mandate or UPI AutoPay and complete the authorization. With an eligible card e-mandate, AWS documents automatic payment only for bills up to INR 15,000; pay a higher invoice manually. UPI AutoPay is documented for future invoices, but its availability and setup should be verified in the account.

What “AWS for a YouTube live stream” might mean
The payment question alone does not identify which AWS service is running the stream. Amazon Interactive Video Service (Amazon IVS) is one possible live-video service, but an IVS setup should not be assumed to deliver a broadcast to YouTube Live. AWS’s encoder documentation describes sending video to IVS using compatible encoders such as OBS and authorizing the stream with an IVS channel’s stream key; that describes ingest into IVS, not an automatic IVS-to-YouTube workflow.
Before estimating a bill or following service-specific setup steps, identify the AWS product you actually use and how it connects to YouTube. If Amazon IVS is involved, its usage has separate live-video input and delivered-video output components.

Budgeting if you use Amazon IVS
Amazon IVS charges depend on more than the hours you broadcast. Input charges depend on channel type. Output charges depend on video resolution, viewer delivery region and monthly usage tier; AWS determines the output billing region by where viewers receive the video, not simply where the channel is configured or the stream is ingested. AWS’s pricing information includes India delivery rates, but a useful estimate requires your expected stream hours, viewer-hours, resolution, channel type and delivery geography.
Check the current AWS IVS pricing page and estimate those inputs before committing to a budget. AWS also describes Free Tier benefits and credits for eligible new customers; eligibility and terms can change, so verify them for your account and do not assume all usage is free or that a particular credit balance will apply.
