You can schedule each yoga nidra session in YouTube Studio, then start the stream by sending its feed from an encoder and clicking Go live in Live Control Room. Studio’s documented workflow lets you reuse a previous stream’s settings, but does not establish a built-in daily recurrence control. For a regular daily series, schedule each event separately—or build a custom workflow with YouTube’s Live Streaming API.
Before you schedule: check eligibility and test your setup
- Your channel must be verified, have no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days, and the person streaming must be at least 16. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- If this is your first live stream, enable live streaming in advance. YouTube says activation may take up to 24 hours. See YouTube’s encoder setup instructions.
- Choose a method that fits the session. YouTube supports mobile, webcam, encoder, and console streams. An encoder is useful when you want more production control or external audio hardware, but it is not required for every stream.
- Run a test stream, preferably unlisted, to check the spoken guidance, any background audio, and the visual presentation before relying on a public daily schedule. YouTube recommends testing your live setup; its tips also say expensive equipment is not required. A microphone is an optional consideration if you will speak live.
- Confirm you have the rights to any music, video, or other material you include. The official guidance cited here does not establish whether a particular yoga nidra recording or soundtrack is cleared for streaming.
Create a scheduled stream in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio and select Create in the upper-right corner, then Go Live to open Live Control Room.
- Open Manage and select Schedule Stream.
- Choose Reuse settings to carry over details from a previous stream, or choose Create new.
- Enter the event details, date and time, and visibility, then save. YouTube notes that the default privacy setting can vary by age; check and change it if needed.
- Copy the scheduled watch-page link to share it with viewers. YouTube says scheduling creates a page that can be promoted and shared, and viewers can set reminders.
For daily sessions, reuse a consistent title pattern, description, and stream configuration, but create an event for each day. For example, use the session date in the title so viewers can distinguish today’s practice from an earlier stream. The documented Studio steps cover scheduling and reusing settings; they do not establish a daily repeat option.
Start the session when its scheduled time approaches
- In your encoder, select YouTube as the streaming service if available. Otherwise, copy the server or stream URL and stream key from YouTube Studio into the encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: it authorizes the encoder to send the feed to your channel.
- Plan the setup buffer. YouTube recommends setting up an encoder stream at least two hours ahead and starting the encoder at least 15 minutes before the event.
- Start sending the feed from the encoder, then wait for the preview to appear in Live Control Room. Check that the video and audio are correct before proceeding.
- When the preview is ready, select Go live in Live Control Room. Scheduling alone does not send your yoga nidra program to YouTube.
- When the session is over, stop the stream in Live Control Room and stop sending content from the encoder. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived.
Make the daily schedule repeatable
Manual setup in Studio
For a small or manually managed series, schedule each event in Studio and reuse a previous stream’s settings. This reduces repeated entry, while leaving you responsible for creating each event, starting the encoder, checking the preview, and selecting Go live.
Custom scheduling with the Live Streaming API
For a programmed workflow, Google’s Live Streaming API documentation describes a reusable liveStream resource for shared delivery settings, bound to separate scheduled liveBroadcast resources. The guide says only one event is live at a time. This is an API implementation pattern—not a point-and-click daily recurrence feature in Studio—and the automation must manage each broadcast’s state correctly.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choose the streaming approach that fits your practice
- Mobile or webcam: a simpler route for a basic setup. YouTube supports both, but the cited guidance does not specify that either is right for every yoga nidra production.
- Encoder: useful when you want more control or external audio equipment. You must start it, verify its preview, and start the event in Live Control Room.
- API workflow: suited to a custom system that creates and binds separate broadcast events. It requires implementation beyond Studio’s scheduling controls.

Troubleshooting a missed or failed start
- Live streaming is unavailable: check channel verification, age eligibility, and whether the channel has had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. If this is your first stream, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- The scheduled page exists, but the stream is not live: the event schedule does not send a feed by itself. Start the encoder, confirm the preview appears in Live Control Room, then select Go live.
- No preview appears: confirm that the encoder is sending to the correct YouTube server or stream URL and that it has the correct stream key. Check the encoder’s connection and the selected input before trying again.
- Viewers cannot hear the guidance or audio is wrong: inspect the encoder’s audio source and levels, then verify audio in the Live Control Room preview before going live. Test the complete setup beforehand.
- The wrong audience can see the event, or viewers cannot find it: review the event’s visibility setting and share the scheduled watch-page link. YouTube’s default privacy may vary by age, so do not assume the saved default matches your intention.
- The stream ends but no archive appears: YouTube’s cited automatic-archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours. It does not establish the same archive outcome for longer streams.
