Yes. One Google Account can manage up to 100 YouTube channels, so you can run two internet radio channels under one login. To broadcast both at the same time, set up a separate live stream for each channel and make sure each channel is eligible to livestream. The account switcher selects one channel identity at a time; it does not merge the channels or make one live event belong to both.
What “one YouTube account” means
Your Google Account is the login; each YouTube channel has its own public identity and live events. YouTube says one Google Account can manage up to 100 channels. You can switch between the channels while signed in, but YouTube’s help says you can use only one channel at a time in YouTube. Before creating or scheduling a broadcast, confirm that the selected channel is the station you intend to put on air.
Personal channel or Brand Account?
A personal channel is associated with your Google Account identity. A Brand Account can use a different public channel name and can be useful when more than one person needs to manage a station. These are ways to organize channel identity and access, not different livestreaming plans. See YouTube’s channel management guidance and channel creation instructions.
Can both radio channels livestream at once?
Yes, provided each channel meets YouTube’s livestream requirements and each broadcast is set up for the correct channel. YouTube documents limits of up to 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. Those limits are stated per channel and per key; YouTube does not state an account-level throughput guarantee. If the stations have distinct simultaneous programming, create a separate live event and stream for each channel rather than assuming one event will serve both.

YouTube supports encoders that send audio and video to a live stream. An encoder may be software, dedicated hardware, or a cloud service; hardware is not mandatory. For multi-destination workflows, YouTube describes both local and cloud encoder approaches in its stream-across-platforms guidance.
Set up the second channel and its broadcast
- Create or select the channel. Use YouTube’s channel creation or management flow while signed in to the Google Account that will manage both stations. Choose a Brand Account if the second station needs a different public name or shared management.
- Switch to the intended channel. Open YouTube’s account menu and choose the channel you want to configure. YouTube documents this switching process in Switch between channels on a Google Account.
- Verify the identity in Studio. Before creating or scheduling the live event, check the channel avatar and name in YouTube Studio. Repeat the check after switching channels; the event must be associated with the intended station.
- Confirm livestream eligibility for that channel. YouTube requires channel verification and no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Livestreamers must be at least 16 years old. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable and verify livestreaming ahead of a planned launch.
- Configure the encoder and event. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup instructions for the selected channel, then create its live event. Use a separate setup for the other station and check its channel identity before going live.
- Test both broadcasts. Confirm each channel’s event, audio, and stream status independently. Stay within YouTube’s per-channel and per-stream-key active-stream limits.
YouTube’s live-streaming overview covers eligibility and operational limits. These limits do not establish how much simultaneous encoding or upload capacity your own computer, network, or service can handle.

Music rights are the main radio-specific risk
Having two channels does not grant either one the right to broadcast music. YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content; a match can lead to interruption or termination. Its guidance also says a licensed rights holder may need to allowlist the channel in Content ID for live use. Before broadcasting, confirm that your rights cover the recordings and compositions, live streaming, the relevant territories, and each channel involved. YouTube explains the matching and allowlisting issue in its copyright guidance for live streams.
YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the provider to obtain necessary rights, including music rights. Do not assume a Creator Music license covers a live radio broadcast: YouTube’s Creator Music FAQ says it does not currently support licensing for live content.

- PLUG IN AND HEAR SOUND IN SECONDS - USB Type-A connector with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate 3.5mm mono microphone input. No drivers, no software, no external power - the adapter is USB bus-powered and is recognized as a standard USB audio device.

Managed and work-issued computers can block new USB audio devices by policy - check with your IT department before ordering for a company machine.

Keep each station running: local or cloud workflow
Run your own encoder
A software or hardware encoder gives you direct control over each feed, but the device and the network connection it relies on must remain available for the broadcast. If you are operating two simultaneous stations from one local setup, plan for the computer’s encoding capacity and your connection’s ability to send both streams. YouTube’s documented stream limits are not a guarantee that a particular home connection or machine can sustain them.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping uploaded videos live around the clock. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key, and go live; StreamNeo loops the uploaded material in the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Each slot streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. It plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a live camera feed. For two stations, use the setup for the channel and stream key intended for each one, and retain the same music-rights responsibilities described above. Start your free StreamNeo day.
