Why Hailey Bieber’s Rhode deal does not establish her net worth
Coverage of e.l.f. Beauty’s 2025 acquisition of Rhode reported a $1 billion deal value. That figure describes the transaction, not the amount Hailey Bieber personally received or retained. It cited Forbes reporting that Justin earned $83.5 million in 2017; that is a historical earnings figure, not a measure of current wealth. Yahoo Finance also reported in 2025 that Justin sold a 291-song catalog in a transaction reported at $200 million in December 2022.
