You can broadcast prerecorded yoga classes around the clock by sending a looping playlist from an encoder to YouTube Live Control Room. First verify that your channel can livestream, clear the rights for every class and audio track, and test the full playback sequence. YouTube does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 service, and a stream longer than 12 hours may not be archived, so keep your own recordings if a complete replay matters.
What you need before starting
- A YouTube channel that is verified and has no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. Enabling live streaming for the first time can take up to 24 hours. See YouTube’s live-streaming requirements.
- A computer with streaming software or a dedicated hardware encoder, plus an internet connection with reliable upload capacity.
- A playback sequence or playlist of prerecorded classes configured in the encoder or playout setup. YouTube’s encoder instructions do not specify a particular looping application.
- Permission to livestream the classes and all included material, including music, graphics, footage, and identifiable performers.
You do not need to buy a new computer just to begin: YouTube says expensive equipment is not necessary to start. Choose software or hardware based on your production needs and how you will monitor and recover the stream.
Prepare and clear the yoga class playlist
Check the complete playback sequence
Arrange the recordings in the order you want viewers to see them. Test the sequence from beginning to end, including the transition between one class and the next. Confirm that picture and sound continue smoothly, and decide whether the sequence should restart when it reaches the end. That looping configuration belongs in the chosen encoder or playout setup; it is not a playlist feature prescribed by YouTube’s setup guide.
Confirm rights for the whole broadcast
Before going live, check that you have the necessary rights for each class and every component in it. YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the provider for rights needed to exploit the live content on Google services worldwide, expressly including music rights, and for compliance with applicable laws and territory requirements. That can involve the yoga instruction, instructor and other performers, music, graphics, and third-party footage. The available guidance does not determine which Indian copyright, music, or broadcast approvals apply to a specific production; get appropriate advice for your content and circumstances.

Set up the encoder and start the YouTube stream
- Enable live streaming: Verify the channel and check YouTube Studio for live-stream restrictions. If this is your first livestream, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- Open Live Control Room: In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live and create a stream using the encoder workflow. You can schedule it; YouTube says scheduling can create a watch page where viewers can see the upcoming event. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup instructions.
- Copy the connection details: Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube into the encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key as a credential: do not share it publicly, and reset it if it is compromised.
- Configure playback and stream details: Set the encoder’s source to play your prerecorded sequence and configure its looping or playlist behavior. Enter the title and description, choose the audience and privacy settings, and schedule the event if useful.
- Preview before going live: Start the encoder feed and check the Live Control Room preview before starting the public broadcast. Verify the watch page and playback on a channel page and mobile device, as appropriate.
- Start and monitor: Once the preview is correct, start the stream in Live Control Room. Keep an eye on video, audio, connection status, and whether playback is still advancing.
Plan upload bandwidth and recovery
YouTube says the available outbound bandwidth must exceed the total streaming bitrate and recommends leaving 20% headroom. Account for both primary and backup bitrates if you use a backup encoder. Use a reliable connection, test the stream before launch, and check that a backup encoder can take over rather than assuming failover will work.
For a long-running broadcast, set up a practical way to notice encoder stoppage, a dropped connection, frozen video, silent audio, a playlist that has ended, or local storage failure. YouTube recommends previewing, monitoring quality, and testing failover; it does not prescribe a particular monitoring product or promise continuous service.

Choose between one continuous stream and shorter sessions
A single 24-hour broadcast is not a dependable way to create a complete YouTube replay. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, warns that a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured, and says DVR rewind may be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours. These warnings concern replay and DVR behavior, not whether a continuous live feed is required to be split.
If a complete archive matters, keep separate local recordings and consider whether shorter scheduled sessions better suit your replay needs. Do not advertise the YouTube replay as a guaranteed full recording of a stream that runs beyond 12 hours.

Monetization and India-specific considerations
YouTube lists live ads, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and memberships among possible live-stream revenue features where available. Features depend on channel eligibility and settings, and YouTube says an ad slot is not guaranteed to serve an ad. The YouTube Partner Program overview describes general requirements, including compliance with monetization policies, location in an eligible country or region, and no active Community Guidelines strikes. Check the Earn or eligibility screen in YouTube Studio for your channel’s current status in India; the available general guidance does not establish whether a particular channel qualifies. Do not estimate revenue without current eligibility and channel-specific analytics.
