Studio schedules and promotes the event; the playback system controls which video plays, in what order, and when. YouTube’s documented workflow does not describe a native Studio playlist control that switches videos inside one continuous broadcast. YouTube’s encoder and scheduling instructions and its description of broadcasts and streams explain the distinction.
How the schedule works
There are two separate schedules to plan:
- YouTube event schedule: when the broadcast begins, its watch page, visibility, and promotion or reminders.
- Playback schedule: which Hindi video plays at a given time, how files follow one another, and whether the sequence repeats. Set this in the encoder or hosted service that sends the feed.
YouTube’s Live API describes a broadcast as a distinct watchable event and a stream as the audio-video transmission supplied to YouTube. A channel can maintain a continuous feed while creating a separate broadcast for another event carried in that feed. Read the YouTube Live API guide.
“Hindi” does not change the scheduling steps. It matters when choosing the videos and writing the event title and description. It does not grant permission to use songs, films, or other third-party material.
Prepare the Hindi playlist and check rights
- Choose the files and order. Make the playlist in the playback system you plan to use. Do not rely on the YouTube event details to define video order or switching times.
- Clear the rights. Use content you created or have authorization to stream. If you have a licence for third-party content, ask the rights owner whether your channel must be added to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube’s live copyright guidance explains that this may be necessary.
- Decide whether the sequence should repeat. Check that the playback tool supports the exact ordering and repeat behavior you need; capabilities vary by encoder, hardware, and hosted service.
Schedule the broadcast in YouTube Studio
- Enable live streaming ahead of time. YouTube says first-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours. Allow for that before your planned start.
- Open the scheduling controls. In YouTube Studio, select Create > Go Live, open Manage, and choose Schedule stream.
- Create the event. Start a new event or reuse settings, then set its title, visibility, date, and other event details. Scheduling creates a watch page and makes promotion and viewer reminders possible.
- Connect the playback system. For an encoder workflow, enter YouTube’s Live server URL and stream key in the encoder. Keep the stream key private; anyone with access may be able to send a feed to your event. Hosted services have their own connection steps.
- At the scheduled time, check the feed. Start the encoder or hosted stream, confirm that the preview appears in Live Control Room, and select Go live for the scheduled event as directed in YouTube’s documented workflow.
Labels and controls can change, so consult YouTube’s current encoder and scheduling help if your Studio screen differs.

Choose where playlist playback runs
The right approach depends on whether you want to operate the feed locally or have a service run it remotely. YouTube’s verified-encoder list includes software, standalone hardware, and hosted options; YouTube notes that listed products are not made by YouTube. Check the encoder list and confirm current capabilities with the provider.

OneStream’s help article describes selecting videos from a device, its library, or cloud storage, connecting a YouTube channel, and scheduling a 24-hour stream. OneStream states that the feature requires its Enterprise plan and that its maximum 24/7 duration is 30 days; these are vendor-stated conditions, not YouTube requirements. Protect the stream and understand monetization
Copyright can interrupt a live feed
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted material. A match may replace the stream with a placeholder; if the material remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the live stream. YouTube’s guidance states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If you licensed the material, ask the owner about adding your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Permission does not guarantee monetization
Copyright clearance and monetization eligibility are separate. YouTube’s channel monetization policies apply to live streams and define reused content as material republished without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or educational or entertainment value. The policy says reused-content review is separate from copyright, permission, or fair use, and identifies collections of songs from different artists among examples that may not be eligible. Do not assume a playlist can be monetized because you have permission or because it runs continuously. YouTube channel monetization policies.

Plan for archiving and operational limits
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its cited help does not promise one complete automatic archive for a longer continuous broadcast, so do not assume a multi-day stream will be saved as one video. If an archive matters, plan how you will preserve the source files and verify what happens to the event recording before relying on it. YouTube encoder help.
Before choosing an encoder or service, verify the precise playlist controls, maximum duration, file requirements, cost, and monitoring options with that provider. The YouTube API explains the broadcast/feed model, while YouTube’s help page lists verified encoders; neither makes one playback workflow suitable for every Hindi playlist.

Troubleshoot common scheduling problems
- The playlist does not advance or repeat as expected: check the playback queue and repeat settings in the encoder, hardware, or hosted service. Studio’s event schedule does not control video switching within the feed.
- The event is scheduled but no preview appears: check that the encoder or service is running, that the YouTube Live server URL and stream key are correct, and that the feed has been started. Recheck the preview in Live Control Room before selecting Go live.
- You cannot enable live streaming in time: first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours. Enable it well before the scheduled broadcast.
- The stream is replaced, interrupted, or terminated: review YouTube’s copyright notice and remove or resolve the matched material. For licensed material, ask the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting.
- A long stream has no complete archive: YouTube’s stated automatic archiving applies to streams under 12 hours; it does not establish a complete archive for a longer broadcast.
- A hosted service cannot express your rotation: confirm its supported scheduling controls, duration, plan, and file handling directly with the provider before moving the playlist.
