The help pages reviewed do not say whether a failed LiveReacting payment automatically cancels an existing YouTube event, so don’t assume it will run: check the schedule and contact LiveReacting support if your account or broadcast status is unclear.
First, confirm which payment failed
LiveReacting billing and YouTube paid-service billing are separate. If the failed charge is for your LiveReacting subscription, use LiveReacting’s billing account and support route below. YouTube’s instructions for a declined payment apply to YouTube paid memberships or other YouTube paid services—not a LiveReacting subscription. YouTube’s payment guidance directs users to check Google Payments alerts or transactions and update the payment method.
Update your LiveReacting payment method
- Sign in to LiveReacting’s account page using the same email address you used for the purchase. LiveReacting says payment details and invoices are available there: LiveReacting Help Center.
- Check or edit the payment information for the account. If the purchase or billing details are not visible, contact LiveReacting support rather than assuming you are in the correct account.
- If you have paid but the subscription still appears inactive, LiveReacting’s guidance is to contact its team by live chat or email. See LiveReacting’s subscription activation help.
The published help reviewed here does not specify an automatic retry timetable for a failed LiveReacting payment. Updating your details alone does not establish whether a scheduled broadcast has been preserved or restored.
Check whether the stream is still scheduled
- Open LiveReacting’s Broadcasts page and inspect the affected project. You can also open the project itself.
- Look for the red SCHEDULED button, which LiveReacting documents as the indication that a project is scheduled. For a project with multiple destinations, inspect the destination status as well.
- If the project is missing, its status is unclear, or the schedule does not match what you expect, contact LiveReacting support and ask for an account-specific status check.
A displayed schedule confirms the status shown in LiveReacting; it does not explain why a payment failed or guarantee that the broadcast will launch. LiveReacting’s reviewed billing and scheduling help does not state whether a declined or overdue charge automatically cancels, pauses, or leaves an existing YouTube stream untouched. Do not transfer YouTube’s separate 24-hour grace-period guidance for YouTube paid services to LiveReacting.

Reconnect to an existing scheduled YouTube event if needed
If the YouTube event already exists, LiveReacting documents a way to connect the project to it. In the project, connect your YouTube channel, open Advanced Settings, choose Connect to existing stream, and select the scheduled event. LiveReacting says event details such as the title and description are pulled from the channel. This connects the project to an existing event; it does not by itself confirm that billing is resolved or guarantee the stream will start. See LiveReacting’s existing-stream connection help.
For repeat or multi-date schedules, inspect every affected entry
Check each date in the Broadcasts page before changing a recurring schedule. LiveReacting’s advanced-scheduling guidance describes canceling an individual scheduled broadcast or a project’s schedule, and notes that changes to some repeat schedules may need to be applied to all scheduled streams. Avoid canceling and rebuilding the schedule until you have confirmed which entries remain active. The standard scheduling guide says YouTube streams can be scheduled up to two weeks ahead, while the advanced scheduling page says multi-date or repeat streams can be scheduled up to four weeks ahead; check the current interface for applicable limits. If the payment is fixed but the stream still will not launch
- Billing account or purchase not found: Sign in with the purchase email. If the details remain unavailable, ask LiveReacting support to locate the account.
- Subscription still inactive after purchase: Contact LiveReacting through live chat or email; its help directs users to support for unresolved activation.
- Project does not show as scheduled: Check the Broadcasts page and project status. Ask support to confirm what remains active before canceling or recreating the schedule.
- YouTube event exists but is not linked to the project: Use Advanced Settings and Connect to existing stream, then choose that event.
- You are unsure whether a failed charge affects the broadcast: Request a status check from LiveReacting. Its published help does not establish an automatic cancellation, pause, preservation, or restart behavior after payment failure.
