Possibly. Gyre lists Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit and credit cards as payment methods, but it does not guarantee that every international debit card issued in India will be approved. Your card’s issuer and transaction settings can affect whether a particular payment goes through.
Which payment methods does Gyre list?
Gyre’s pricing FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit or credit bank cards. It also says users can top up their Gyre balance through PayPal or cryptocurrency. Gyre’s Terms of Service names bank cards, PayPal, cryptocurrency and user balance as payment routes.
These are options Gyre documents, not a promise that every method will appear in every account or be available in every country. Check the payment choices shown in your own Gyre account before relying on an alternative.
How to check your Indian debit card before paying
- Confirm the card is Visa, Mastercard or Maestro, the brands Gyre lists.
- Ask your bank whether online and international transactions are enabled for the card, and whether any limits or declines could apply.
- Check that the card can make a payment in the currency shown at checkout and review any conversion costs displayed before confirming.
- At Gyre checkout, verify the amount, payment method and subscription period before submitting the payment.
These checks can help identify common issuer-side or transaction-setting issues, but they cannot guarantee approval. Gyre does not publish issuer-by-issuer confirmation for Indian cards, nor does it establish that a particular card or payment processor will work for every transaction.

If the payment is declined
A decline does not by itself prove that Gyre does not support your card. Gyre’s FAQ advises contacting your bank when online banking is not working. Ask the issuer whether it declined the transaction and whether any card setting, limit or available-balance issue needs attention.
Gyre says it makes two further automatic attempts after a subscription payment fails and describes a manual payment option after an unsuccessful attempt. It advises keeping sufficient funds available or topping up the account balance ahead of renewal. The FAQ also lists PayPal and cryptocurrency balance top-ups, subject to what is available in your account and location.

- Double check if the URL/website is genuine before entering card details online. Do not provide any gift card details (example: claim code) to someone you do not know or trust. There are a variety of scams in which fraudsters try to trick others into paying with gift cards.
- If you believe that your Card has been lost or stolen, notify Mastercard immediately by calling 1-833-791-7288. You will be asked to provide the Gift Card number and other identifying information.
- Use your Mastercard Gift Card in the U.S. everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted, including online. Your Amazon.com Balance cannot be used to purchase Mastercard gift cards.
Check renewal and cancellation settings
Gyre’s Terms of Service describes automatic recurring subscription charges at the beginning of a subscription period. Before starting a paid plan or trial, review the subscription and cancellation controls in your account so you understand whether and when another charge may be made.
