YouTube Live Settings for 720p 25fps Bengali Pre-Recorded Videos

Use 1280 Ă— 720 progressive at 25 fps, CBR, and 2-second keyframes. YouTube has no 720p25 live bitrate row, so treat its 720p30 figures as reference values and test your stream.

For a Bengali pre-recorded video finished at 1280 Ă— 720 and 25 fps, keep the live output progressive at 25 fps, use CBR, set a 2-second keyframe interval, and prefer RTMPS. YouTube does not publish a 720p25 live-bitrate row: its nearest reference is 720p30. For H.264, that row recommends 8 Mbps and gives 3 Mbps as the minimum; treat these as guidance for testing, not exact 720p25 requirements.

Recommended settings for a 720p25 live feed

Use the finished video’s frame rate and resolution rather than converting it simply to match a different live-table row. YouTube’s upload guidance lists 25 fps as a common frame rate and recommends encoding at the rate at which content was recorded. The settings below combine that frame-rate guidance with YouTube’s nearest live-bitrate reference, which is 720p30, not 720p25. The cited YouTube pages do not expose publication or revision dates; the figures were checked on 2026-10-03.

Setting Recommended value What to know
Output size and frame rate 1280 Ă— 720, progressive, 25 fps Preserves the source’s 25 fps. YouTube does not give a separate live-bitrate row for this exact frame rate.
Video codec H.264, H.265/HEVC, or AV1 These are supported ingest codecs. H.264 is a broadly compatible choice, not a requirement.
H.264 video bitrate 8 Mbps recommended; 3 Mbps minimum YouTube’s published 720p30 live reference, used here as the nearest row for 720p25—not an exact 720p25 prescription.
AV1 or H.265/HEVC video bitrate 6 Mbps recommended; 2 Mbps minimum YouTube’s published 720p30 live reference for these codecs, likewise approximate for 720p25.
Rate control CBR YouTube’s live encoder guidance.
Keyframe interval 2 seconds; do not exceed 4 seconds YouTube’s live encoder guidance.
Ingest protocol RTMP or RTMPS; prefer RTMPS YouTube recommends RTMPS for encryption in transit.
Stereo audio AAC or MP3; 44.1 kHz and 128 kbps are YouTube’s advanced stereo recommendations For 5.1 audio over RTMP/RTMPS, YouTube lists AAC, 48 kHz, and 384 kbps.
SDR advanced video Rec. 709; square pixels; progressive scan; two B-frames; one reference frame; CABAC YouTube’s advanced encoder recommendations.

YouTube’s cited live settings guidance does not assign Bengali videos a different encoder configuration. Choose the stream language and metadata that accurately describe the program in YouTube Studio; the video and audio encoding settings above are language-neutral.

Why 720p25 bitrate needs a careful interpretation

YouTube’s live bitrate table includes a 720p30 row, but not 720p25. The H.264 figures of 8 Mbps recommended and 3 Mbps minimum, and the AV1/H.265 figures of 6 Mbps recommended and 2 Mbps minimum, are therefore the closest published live references—not official 720p25 values. Start with the reference for your selected codec, then test the actual 25 fps output on the connection and encoder you plan to use. A bitrate that is unstable on your upload connection can interrupt delivery; YouTube does not specify a fixed upload-speed reserve percentage in the cited guidance.

  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Do not substitute the VOD upload bitrate for live ingest. YouTube lists 5 Mbps for 720p SDR uploads at standard frame rates including 25 fps. That upload figure applies to a different workflow than sending an encoder feed to YouTube Live.

Set up and test the YouTube Live stream

  1. Create or schedule the event: In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule the stream. Set its title, description, privacy, and other metadata for the documentary or program.
  2. Connect the encoder: Copy the stream URL and stream key from the Live Control Room into the encoder or playback/streaming software that will send the pre-recorded file. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to the stream.
  3. Match the source: Set the encoder output to 1280 Ă— 720 progressive at 25 fps. Use the recorded source’s frame rate; avoid unnecessary frame-rate conversion.
  4. Apply the encoding values: Choose a supported codec, CBR, a 2-second keyframe interval (never over 4 seconds), and the nearest applicable 720p bitrate reference for that codec. For H.264, begin testing against the 720p30 recommendation of 8 Mbps; for AV1 or H.265, the corresponding recommendation is 6 Mbps.
  5. Run a representative test: Test footage with movement, detail, and the actual audio mix. Check the encoder’s output and YouTube’s stream health/messages while sending, and confirm playback on the viewer side before relying on the setup.
  6. Schedule for discovery if useful: A scheduled stream may appear to subscribers as upcoming, where viewers can choose “Notify me.”

YouTube’s guidance advises creators to test before starting a live stream. For a one-way pre-recorded program, low latency is usually less important than stable playback: YouTube describes lower latency as potentially increasing playback buffering, and notes that it matters less when the creator is not interacting with viewers. That is a practical inference from YouTube’s stated trade-off, not a separate rule for Bengali content.

Copyright, permissions, and reused material

Before streaming a pre-recorded documentary or music-led program, confirm that you have the rights or permissions needed for every included element—such as footage, music, photographs, and narration—and that your planned use complies with YouTube’s policies. A live encoder setting cannot grant rights or prevent a rights claim. Keep records of licenses and permissions, and review YouTube’s current rules in Studio and its Help pages before scheduling material whose rights are uncertain.

Troubleshoot common setup problems

  • The stream will not connect: Check that the encoder has the stream URL and the correct stream key for the intended event. Re-copy the key from the Live Control Room if necessary, and verify that the selected ingest protocol is supported by the encoder.
  • YouTube reports unstable or poor stream health: Check the actual outgoing bitrate and upload connection. If the connection cannot sustain the selected rate reliably, test a lower bitrate while retaining the correct resolution and frame rate; confirm stream health again before the program.
  • The stream looks juddery or the motion cadence is wrong: Confirm the output is 25 fps progressive and that the encoder is not converting the source to 30 fps or another rate unnecessarily.
  • Video or audio is missing: Verify that the encoder is sending the intended video and audio tracks and that its codec settings are supported by YouTube. Check audio sample rate and channel configuration as well as the stream-health messages.
  • Viewers cannot find the event: Confirm its visibility and schedule in the Live Control Room, then share the scheduled event link with the intended audience. Subscribers may see a scheduled stream as upcoming and select “Notify me.”
