To set up a Streamlabs Cloudbot loyalty store, enable Cloudbot and its loyalty system, then create a store item and choose how viewers can redeem it. You can offer access codes, sound effects, or stream perks, with settings for point cost, quantity, cooldown, and redemption requirements.
Before you start
Open the Streamlabs dashboard and connect the relevant channel account. For Cloudbot to talk in chat and moderate, Streamlabs’ current setup guidance recommends granting moderator permissions: use /mod Streamlabs on Twitch or Kick, or add Streamlabs as a moderator in YouTube Studio. The loyalty-store guide specifically requires Cloudbot to be enabled.
Enable Cloudbot and loyalty
- In the Streamlabs dashboard, select Cloudbot and enable it.
- Select Loyalty, open Settings, and switch on Enable Loyalty System.
- In Loyalty settings, customize the points name and the amounts viewers earn for activities. You can also block selected users from earning points.
Streamlabs’ support guides were shown as updated in July 2026; dashboard labels may change.
Create a store item
- Select Store, then choose Add Your First Item (or the add-item option if you already have store items).
- Choose the reward type, then enter its name and description.
- Set the loyalty point cost, quantity, and cooldown. The cooldown helps prevent repeated redemptions.
- Optionally add a thumbnail. For a sound effect, choose an uploaded sound file. For an access-code item, enter the codes; Streamlabs says codes are distributed automatically when a viewer redeems the item.
- Turn on Redeem Shows Alert if you want a redemption to trigger an on-stream alert.
- Set redemption options and any information requirements, then save the item.
Choose the reward type
- Access Code: For creator-provided codes, such as game keys or gift codes.
- Sound Effect: Plays a selected sound through the Alert Box.
- Stream Perk: For another reward or benefit; Streamlabs gives following a viewer as an example.
Choose how viewers redeem rewards
Chat redemption
Enable Redeem Via Chat and set the keyword viewers should use after !redeem. A viewer redeems with !redeem <keyword>. Chat is convenient for straightforward rewards, but it is not suitable for items that need multiple details from the viewer.

Tip-page redemption
Viewers can also redeem through your Cloudbot tip page at https://streamlabs.com/<your_name>/cloudbot after logging in. If fulfillment requires information from the viewer, add requirement fields to the item. Streamlabs says a popup collects that information in the tip-page flow, recommends keeping items with requirements off chat redemption, and does not allow chat redemption for items with two or more requirements.
Set up redemption alerts
To customize the alert shown when a viewer redeems an item, open the Alert Box settings and configure Cloudbot Redemption. Whether an alert is shown for an individual item is controlled by its Redeem Shows Alert setting.

Check the store as a viewer
- Confirm Cloudbot and the loyalty system are enabled.
- Check that the item has a clear name and description, a point cost, and suitable quantity and cooldown settings.
- For access codes, verify that the codes are entered and available for distribution.
- Check the redemption route against the information the reward requires: chat for simple redemptions, or the tip page when you need viewer details.
- Confirm the alert behavior you want, then save the item.
Troubleshooting
Viewers cannot earn or spend points
Check that Cloudbot is enabled and that Enable Loyalty System is switched on in Loyalty > Settings. Also check whether the viewer is among users blocked from earning points.
The chat redemption does not work
Confirm Redeem Via Chat is enabled and that the viewer is using the configured keyword after !redeem. If the item has two or more requirement fields, chat redemption is unavailable; use the tip-page route instead.

An access code is not delivered
Check that codes were added to the Access Code item. Streamlabs describes code distribution as automatic when a viewer redeems, so an empty or exhausted code supply will leave nothing to distribute.
A redemption alert does not appear
Check whether Redeem Shows Alert is enabled for the item and review the Cloudbot Redemption category in Alert Box settings.
