Auto-restart kya sambhalta hai—and kya nahi
systemd FFmpeg process ke exit hone par use dobara chala sakta hai, aur boot par service start kar sakta hai. Lekin agar FFmpeg process chal raha ho par output freeze ho, media file khatam ho jaye, network delivery kharab ho, YouTube key reject kare, ya viewers ko playback mein dikkat ho, to sirf process restart policy kaafi nahi. Media aur file paths
- Linux image aur FFmpeg aisa chunen jo aapke command aur media format ko support kare.
- Source video ya playlist ko stable disk path par rakhein; reboot ke baad bhi wahi path available hona chahiye.
- Disk capacity, network egress aur stream ke liye uplink ko dhyan mein rakhein.
- Sirf aisa media stream karein jiske istemal ke adhikar aapke paas hon. Is setup se copyright permission nahi milti.
YouTube Live Control Room mein stream banayein
- YouTube Studio kholkar Live Control Room mein encoder stream create ya select karein.
- Wahan diya gaya server URL aur stream key apne FFmpeg configuration mein istemal karne ke liye copy karein.
- Auto-start chahiye to YouTube ke current interface mein Auto-start setting enable karein. Auto-stop aur scheduled/live-event behavior bhi apni zaroorat ke mutabik check karein.
- Key ko password ki tarah sambhalein. YouTube Help ke shabdon mein: “Stream keys are like your YouTube stream’s password and address.” Ise shell history, public repository, screenshot ya logs mein na daalein. Agar key expose ho gayi ho, Live Control Room mein reset karke server configuration update karein. YouTube: Manage live stream settings.
YouTube ka Auto-start encoder data aane par event shuru karne se sambandhit hai; systemd ka kaam VPS par process start aur restart karna hai. Dono settings ek doosre ka badal nahi hain.

FFmpeg output ko test karein
FFmpeg command mein apni media file ya playlist ko loop karna, video/audio encode ya passthrough karna, aur YouTube ingest URL par output bhejna hota hai. Real stream key ko public script ya repository mein paste na karein. Protected configuration ya environment file ka istemal karein, file permissions ko restricted rakhein, aur ensure karein ki service chalane wale non-root account ko zaroori files padhne ki access ho.
YouTube ke H.264 over RTMP/RTMPS encoder guidance ke mutabik CBR use karein aur keyframe interval 2 seconds rakhein; 4 seconds se zyada na ho. Bitrate resolution aur frame rate ke mutabik chunna hota hai—use apne actual uplink se bhi milayein. YouTube encrypted transport ke liye RTMPS recommend karta hai. YouTube encoder settings.

- YouTube Live Control Room preview mein picture aur sound verify karein, phir stream health dekhein.
- Resolution, frame rate, bitrate, CBR aur keyframe interval ko YouTube ke current guidance aur uplink ke mutabik adjust karein. YouTube ki streaming tips bhi preview aur audio/video monitoring par zor deti hain. YouTube streaming tips.
- Test safal hone par wahi command service configuration mein le jaayein. Stream key ko command line mein aise rakhne se bachein ki woh process listing ya logs mein nazar aaye.
FFmpeg ke liye systemd service banayein
Service ko non-root user ke roop mein chalayein, stable media aur configuration paths dein, network ke baad start karayein, aur unexpected process exit par restart policy rakhein. Neeche exact unit file nahi di gayi, kyunki paths, FFmpeg options aur systemd directives aapke Linux image aur command par nirbhar hain. Apne distro aur systemd release ke liye unit syntax verify karein.
- Ek dedicated, non-root account aur aisi configuration banayein jise sirf zaroori users padh sakein. Media file aur FFmpeg executable ke paths confirm karein.
- Systemd unit mein FFmpeg ka tested command set karein; network availability ke baad start hone ki dependency aur unexpected exit ke liye restart behavior configure karein. Zaroorat ke mutabik restart delay set karein.
- Unit reload karke service start karein, phir
systemctl statusse state check karein. systemctl enableke zariye unit ko boot par start hone ke liye enable karein. VPS reboot ke baad status aur YouTube preview dobara verify karein.- Logs dekhne ke liye
journalctlka istemal karein. Manual recovery ke waqtsystemctl restartse service restart ki ja sakti hai.

Watchdog aur restart loop ko samajhkar lagayein
Agar FFmpeg alive rahe lekin progress na ho, to ek watchdog progress signal ko monitor karke process restart kar sakta hai. Yeh basic systemd exit-restart se alag hai. Watchdog ka trigger, check interval aur recovery behavior apne setup mein test karein; source media ka normal pause ya temporary network hiccup galat trigger de sakta hai. Periodic restart bhi ek optional implementation choice hai, default zaroorat nahi.
- Progress check fail hone par kya action hota hai, yeh pehle test karein.
- Repeated failure ke baad alerts ya manual review ka raasta rakhein, warna restart loop asli problem ko chhupa sakta hai.
- Restart ke baad YouTube Live Control Room mein preview aur stream health dekhein; process active hona viewer-facing stream ke theek hone ka saboot nahi.
24/7 broadcast ke archive ko lekar expectation
YouTube ke encoder setup guidance ke mutabik 12 ghante se kam duration wale streams automatically archive hote hain.
