If Streamlabs’ Mini Feed has stopped showing new Twitch follows, tips, subscriptions, or other events, refresh the Twitch authorization: log out of Streamlabs, disconnect its Twitch connection, clear your browser cookies and cache, then sign back in to reconnect. This can help events appear going forward; it will not restore events already missing from the feed.
Refresh the Twitch connection to Streamlabs
Streamlabs’ issue-specific instructions, published October 30, 2025, recommend refreshing the authorization between Twitch and Streamlabs. Follow the steps in order:
- Log out of Streamlabs everywhere. Sign out of Streamlabs.com and any Streamlabs software you use, such as Streamlabs Desktop or Stream Label.
- Disconnect Streamlabs in Twitch. While logged out of Streamlabs, open Twitch’s Connections settings and remove “Streamlabs (Twitch Alerts)” or “Streamlabs / Streamlabs Dashboard,” whichever entry appears.
- Clear your browser’s cookies and cache. Do this while still logged out of Streamlabs.
- Sign back in to Streamlabs. Log in to Streamlabs.com and/or the relevant Streamlabs software using the Twitch account you want connected. This reconnects the authorization.
- Update widget or alert URLs if needed. If a widget or alert in your streaming software still uses an old URL, replace it with the current one from Streamlabs.
Streamlabs says this reconnection is for future events only: it will not bring back events already missing from the feeds. See its Mini Feed and Recent Events troubleshooting instructions for the official procedure.
If related alerts or widgets are still broken
These are follow-up checks from Streamlabs’ general alert and widget troubleshooting guidance. They address related symptoms, but Streamlabs does not identify them as guaranteed fixes for Mini Feed data.

- Check whether alerts are paused. Look in Recent Events to see whether alerts have been paused.
- Check moderation delay. Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay can hold alerts for approval instead of showing them immediately.
- Review alert and widget configuration. Check alert variations, custom HTML or CSS, animations, and widget themes for settings that could prevent an alert from appearing as expected.
- Refresh the browser source or relink the account. These may help with associated alert or widget problems.
- Check access and system settings. Confirm your firewall or antivirus is not blocking Streamlabs, and check that your system date and time are correct.
- Clear the streaming software’s browser cache or reset the API token only if appropriate. If you reset the token, update the affected widget URLs in your streaming software afterward.
Streamlabs’ broader Alerts and Widget Troubleshooting checklist provides more detail. A browser source or alert that fails to display in a scene is a different symptom from the Mini Feed not receiving events. For scene-display problems, source layering and browser hardware acceleration can affect what is visible.
Where to refresh or test an alert
Streamlabs’ alert setup guide explains that Alert Box can be added directly in Streamlabs Desktop, through the Streamlabs plugin in OBS, or to other streaming software as a browser source using its widget URL. If you replace a URL, update it wherever that browser source is configured. The guide also documents testing alerts through the dashboard, Desktop, or plugin; a successful Alert Box test does not by itself prove the Mini Feed connection is repaired.
