You can run a continuous devotional YouTube Live program by keeping your audio playlist and visual loop separate, combining them in an encoder, and sending the resulting feed to one YouTube broadcast. The essential first step is clearing the rights to every recording for continuous public streaming; a license may also require the rights holder to allowlist your channel in Content ID.

What the separate playlists do

The audio list advances through devotional recordings while a shorter visual loop—such as an original illustration or landscape—repeats independently. The encoder combines these sources into one audiovisual feed. YouTube receives one live stream, not a separate music stream and video stream.

YouTube’s Live Streaming API distinguishes the incoming liveStream resource, which carries delivery settings, from the liveBroadcast viewers watch; its documentation explicitly identifies a 24/7 feed as a use case. Read the YouTube Live Streaming API documentation.

Clear recording and visual rights first

Before building the schedule, confirm that you have written permission for each actual recording to be used in a continuous public livestream, in the territories you intend to serve and with any monetization you plan. A traditional devotional composition being old or widely known does not establish rights to a modern recording or arrangement.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
  • Check the license for continuous public livestreaming, geographic scope, and monetization rights.
  • Do not assume a personal music-streaming subscription or a purchase for private listening authorizes rebroadcast.
  • Ask the rights owner whether your channel must be allowlisted in Content ID. YouTube says live streams are scanned for third-party content; detected matches can lead to a placeholder, interruption, or termination, and licensed content can still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted.
  • Clear the visual loop too: use original visuals or material whose license permits the planned use.

YouTube’s guidance explains matching, allowlisting, and what can happen when third-party content is detected: Copyright issues with live streams.

Prepare the audio playlist and visual loop

Build the audio list

Put the cleared tracks in the order you want, or use shuffle if your encoder supports it. Listen to the files and check for abrupt loudness changes, silence, clipping, damaged audio, unwanted spoken tags, and metadata that should not appear in the program. Choose a coherent mood and enough variety for the return pattern you want; there is no universal minimum playlist duration.

Make a loopable visual

Choose a short, cleared visual that suits the devotional program. Watch its opening and ending frames together: a large change at the loop point can make an otherwise calm image feel jarring. Check for accidental black frames, text that is cut off, or visual elements that imply rights or affiliations you do not have.

Keeping the two lists separate means you can revise the music without rendering a single, extremely long combined video. In a service that supports independent lists, the short visual repeats while the audio playlist continues. Looping Stream’s workflow guide documents this approach; its interface and plan terms may change.

Create the YouTube destination and connect an encoder

  1. Create the live destination in YouTube Studio. Set up the broadcast and locate its stream connection details. Keep the stream key private; anyone who has it may be able to send video to your channel.
  2. Choose a playback and encoding method. A local encoder runs on your own computer or server, which must remain on and connected for a continuous feed. A cloud encoder runs prepared files on a service-managed worker, so the local computer can be shut down after launch according to the service’s documented workflow.
  3. Load the sources separately. In an encoder that supports independent playlists, add the visual list and the audio list as separate inputs, select YouTube as the destination, and map the audio and video to the same outgoing feed.
  4. Enter the YouTube connection details. Use the stream key and any other destination information requested by the encoder. Confirm that the broadcast and encoder are pointed at the intended channel and event.
  5. Start privately or unlisted for a test, if available. Confirm that the outgoing feed reaches YouTube before making the program public.

For YouTube’s HLS ingest route specifically, Google documents M2TS with muxed audio and video, H.264 or HEVC video, AAC audio, and persistent HTTPS connections. Those are HLS-specific requirements, not a universal settings checklist for every encoder or ingest method. See Google’s HLS delivery guidance.

Test the whole program, then keep monitoring

  • Listen through several track changes, not just the opening seconds. Check for silence, clipping, abrupt level shifts, and unintended gaps.
  • Watch the visual loop repeat and confirm that audio and picture continue together.
  • Check YouTube Studio for stream health, warnings, restrictions, or a broadcast that has stopped receiving the encoder feed.
  • After launch, review the stream periodically. Cloud playback removes dependence on a home computer, but it does not remove the need to check rights, assets, the destination, and stream health, or guarantee zero downtime.
  • If YouTube identifies third-party content, respond to the warning promptly. If the stream stops, inspect the Studio dashboard for restrictions or strikes and contact the rights holder about any needed allowlisting.
