To repeat a Hindi devotional playlist while watching YouTube, start a video from the playlist, expand the playlist panel, and select Loop. That repeats playback; it does not create a livestream. If you mean a continuous YouTube Live broadcast of devotional songs, YouTube’s documented playlist-repeat control is not a way to send that playlist live. You need a separately configured live stream and the rights to broadcast every track.
Repeat a playlist while watching YouTube
- Open a video that belongs to the Hindi devotional playlist you want to repeat.
- Expand the playlist panel beside or below the video.
- Select Loop. YouTube will repeat the playlist during playback.
On a TV or gaming console, select the playlist, open the playback controls, and choose Repeat until the control indicates playlist repeat. These steps repeat playback for the viewer; they do not start or maintain a live broadcast. YouTube’s playlist-repeat instructions describe the playback feature.
Can you loop that playlist as a YouTube Live broadcast?
Not with the playlist’s Loop button. YouTube documents playlist repeat and live streaming as separate tasks, and its published live setup instructions do not provide a built-in workflow for turning an ordinary playlist into a continuous live broadcast. A live stream must be configured separately using a supported method such as mobile, webcam, encoder, or console. Which method works depends on how you can provide the live audio and video feed; YouTube’s general setup page does not identify one as best for repeating a playlist. See YouTube’s live-stream setup options.
Check channel eligibility before planning a live stream
- Your channel must be verified.
- YouTube says the channel must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days.
- YouTube states that a person must be at least 16 years old to livestream.
These are YouTube’s stated requirements; check the current live-stream setup guidance before scheduling a broadcast, since eligibility and available methods can depend on the channel and device.

Get permission for every track before broadcasting
Devotional, religious, or publicly accessible music is not automatically cleared for a livestream. YouTube says livestreams are scanned for matches to third-party content. If it detects a match, YouTube may replace the live stream with a placeholder; if the material continues, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams also notes that even creators with a licence may need the rights holder to add their channel to the Content ID allowlist.
YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the provider to hold the necessary rights for the live content, including music licensing rights involving artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. Rights and licences can vary by territory and rights holder, so do not assume that permission to listen, download, or use a track in another context covers a worldwide live broadcast. Get the permissions needed for each track and any other included material before going live. Review YouTube’s terms.

Practical checks for an encoder-based stream
If your chosen live-stream workflow uses an encoder, YouTube’s general guidance recommends checks in the Live Control Room. These checks help assess a live event; they are not a playlist-loop recipe.
- Open the event in YouTube Live Control Room and check its preview before starting the broadcast.
- Confirm that the event is accessible to the intended audience.
- Monitor audio and video quality during the stream.
- Stop the encoder after the event ends.
