Potentially—but JioFiber’s advertised speed alone cannot tell you whether your connection can keep a 24/7 stream running. Check sustained upload speed at the encoder, leave bandwidth headroom, confirm the data and service terms for your plan, and account for power and equipment continuity. A 24/7 broadcast is technically plausible on a sufficiently stable connection; no cited source guarantees uninterrupted service at any particular address.
What determines whether JioFiber can handle the stream?
Three things matter more than the plan’s headline download speed: actual upload capacity, the plan’s data and use terms, and continuity over time. JioFiber’s published prepaid comparison has included a symmetrical 30 Mbps upload/download example, but plan details can change and that figure does not establish performance at your address. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India says it does not prescribe a universal minimum download or upload speed (TRAI Broadband FAQ).

1. Sustained upload capacity
YouTube says the total stream bitrate cannot exceed available upload bandwidth and recommends keeping about 20% upload capacity in reserve. Its recommended H.264 video bitrate for 1080p30 is 5 Mbps. As a planning calculation, a 5 Mbps stream needs roughly 6.25 Mbps available upload to preserve 20% headroom (5 ÷ 0.8). This is not a guarantee: other household devices, Wi-Fi conditions, congestion, or a fluctuating connection can reduce what reaches the encoder.
Run a sustained upload test from the location where the streaming computer will sit, ideally during the hours you expect to broadcast. Compare the result with the stream’s total bitrate, not just its video bitrate. If other people will be using the connection, leave room for their traffic too. YouTube’s guidance is to test the connection and ensure the available upload exceeds the stream’s bitrate (YouTube streaming tips).

2. Data allowance and permitted use
Reliance Jio’s prepaid service terms state a commercial-use policy of 3,300 GB per 30-day cycle on Truly Unlimited Plans and reserve the right to withdraw benefits for use beyond that threshold (JioFiber Prepaid – Service Terms and Conditions). At a constant 5 Mbps video bitrate, 30 days of nonstop video payload works out to about 1,620 GB before network overhead and other household traffic. That estimate is calculated from bitrate and time; actual data use may differ.
Jio’s FAQ also describes its plans as intended for home use and says misuse, unauthorized, or commercial use may lead to discontinuation (JioFiber prepaid plans: Is there a fair usage policy?). The available terms do not establish whether a particular monetized or creator-operated YouTube channel will count as commercial use. Check the terms attached to your exact plan and ask Jio if the channel is part of a business activity.
3. Continuity over days, not just a speed test
A speed test shows a moment in time; it does not prove that a residential connection will remain available around the clock. YouTube advises using a reliable network and testing before a broadcast, but neither its guidance nor the cited Jio pages provide an address-specific uptime guarantee for this use. Router or encoder power loss, local network faults, and ISP interruptions can all stop a stream. A long trial run and ongoing stream-health monitoring are prudent.

Choose an encoder bitrate the connection can sustain
YouTube’s current H.264 recommendations provide a useful starting point. These are recommended video bitrates, not guarantees of the upload speed your household will have available:

Choose the output based on measured upload capacity and expected household use, rather than a plan’s download-speed label. Include audio and any other stream traffic when checking total bitrate, and retain YouTube’s recommended roughly 20% upload headroom. YouTube transcodes a live stream into formats for viewers, but that does not reduce the upload the broadcaster must send (YouTube encoder settings; YouTube streaming tips).
Check YouTube’s requirements for a kids’ livestream
Channel eligibility and stream compliance
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days; live streamers must be at least 16. Streams must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service (YouTube live streaming eligibility).

Set the audience accurately
In YouTube Live Control Room, designate whether the content is made for kids. YouTube says made-for-kids livestreams lose features including live chat, comments, notifications, personalized ads, Super Chat, and Super Stickers (YouTube: Set your channel or video’s audience). Plan the broadcast without relying on those interaction or monetization features.
Do not assume the label guarantees monetization
YouTube says channels strongly focused on low-quality made-for-kids content may be suspended from the YouTube Partner Program, and individual videos may have limited or no ad earnings. Its quality concerns include heavily promotional kids’ content. Marking a video made for kids does not guarantee monetization or inclusion in YouTube Kids (YouTube: Best practices for kids and family content).
Ways to keep the broadcast running
If you run the stream yourself, the encoder, network equipment, and power source need to remain operational. A wired Ethernet connection may avoid some Wi-Fi variability between the router and encoder, but it cannot increase JioFiber’s upstream capacity or guarantee uptime. A UPS can help with power continuity, but its required capacity depends on the actual equipment load.
