YouTube does not document a built-in way to turn YouTube Live chat messages into a YouTube Music playback queue. You can manage songs in YouTube Music playlists, but that is separate from a viewer-controlled request queue on a live broadcast. The documented third-party tool YouTube Music Streamer takes requests through Twitch commands and uses YTMDesktop; its documentation does not establish a YouTube Live chat connection.
Before setting up requests, confirm you have the necessary rights to broadcast each recording. A YouTube Music subscription or a viewer request does not grant permission to rebroadcast a song. This guide separates what is documented from what remains unverified, then lays out a cautious workflow for building and testing a Hindi music stream.
Can viewers request Hindi songs in YouTube Live chat?
Not through a native YouTube Music-to-YouTube Live request queue documented in the official help material cited here. YouTube Music supports playlists and changing their order; YouTube Live provides a broadcast and live chat. Those functions do not, by themselves, connect a viewer’s chat message to the music currently playing.
The distinction matters: a playlist you arrange yourself is not the same as a queue viewers can control. Do not install a Twitch-based tool expecting it to read YouTube Live chat.

What the documented request tool does
YouTube Music Streamer documents a workflow in which viewers submit requests using a configured Twitch command, moderation controls include a blacklist and queue controls, and YTMDesktop plays queued tracks. This supports a separate Twitch request source, not a verified YouTube Live chat integration. The exact compatible implementation for taking requests from YouTube Live chat is not established here.
Check channel eligibility and choose a broadcast method
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days to stream. YouTube for Artists also advises that first-time live streaming requires enabling the feature and verifying the account at least 24 hours before going live. Check the current status and labels in YouTube Studio before planning a launch; account eligibility and activation can affect when you can start.

- Check eligibility: sign in to YouTube Studio and confirm the channel is verified and eligible to stream, with no live restriction in the preceding 90 days.
- Allow activation time if this is your first stream: follow YouTube’s current prompts to enable live streaming and verify the account. YouTube for Artists advises allowing at least 24 hours before the first live broadcast.
- Choose how to broadcast: YouTube lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console as ways to go live. For a designed music broadcast with computer playback and overlays, investigate the encoder category. The cited YouTube guidance does not require or endorse a particular encoder product.
Plan the request and playback workflow
Treat the broadcast, music player, and request intake as separate parts that need to work together. A YouTube Music playlist can help you prepare and reorder songs, but it does not prove that viewer requests will reach the active player.
Option A: Creator-managed playlist
Use a playlist when you want to choose and sequence the songs yourself. YouTube Music Help documents adding songs to playlists and editing their order. This is a practical way to prepare a fixed lineup, but it is not a public request system: viewers do not gain control of the playlist simply because it is playing during a YouTube livestream.

- One-Touch Operation: change scenes, launch media, switch cameras, tweak lighting, adjust audio, post tweets – anything.
- Visual Feedback: know that your command has been executed.
Option B: Requests through a separate platform
If you use the documented YouTube Music Streamer workflow, its request source is Twitch: configure the Twitch command, set up the available moderation controls, and connect playback through YTMDesktop as described by that tool. Keep the request channel clearly identified to viewers. Do not describe this as YouTube Live chat integration.
If your requirement is specifically that viewers submit Hindi song requests in YouTube Live chat and have those requests automatically enter the active player, the available evidence does not verify a compatible adapter or end-to-end setup. Avoid promising that feature until you have confirmed the exact tool and tested the connection.

Moderate requests before playback
For any request process, decide whether a human will review each request, how duplicates and unsuitable submissions will be handled, and who can remove or reorder queued tracks. A blacklist and queue controls are documented for the Twitch-based YouTube Music Streamer example; they are not evidence of equivalent controls for YouTube Live chat. Moderation does not replace rights clearance.
Clear music rights before broadcasting
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match may lead to a warning, interruption, or termination. YouTube for Artists advises creators planning to use copyright-protected music to coordinate with their label or distributor. YouTube also warns that even a licensed stream may be interrupted if the rights owner has not allowlisted the channel through Content ID.
Best Value
- Work smarter not harder: forget keyboard shortcuts. Stream Deck Mini lets you assign tedious, hard to memorise shortcuts to a single key. Instantly identify and activate them without error.
- Compatible with your apps: Seamlessly integrate with essential software including Zoom, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, GoogleSuite, MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Apps, Spotify, Music, and many more.
- Customizable LCD keys: Instantly activate commands and functions with a single tap.
- Easy Set Up: User-Friendly Software. Drag actions onto keys. Then personalize settings with ease.
- Multi-action efficiency: Execute multiple actions at once or in a sequence, precisely timed.
Do not assume that having access to a Hindi song in YouTube Music, purchasing a subscription, or receiving a viewer request gives you the right to broadcast it continuously. Confirm that your permission covers the specific recording and the intended live use, and ask the rights owner or representative whether Content ID allowlisting is needed. A request queue can surface songs to consider; it cannot clear them for public rebroadcast.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Test the complete setup before going live
- Prepare the program: arrange the playlist or configure the documented request workflow and playback client. Confirm what request source it actually accepts.
- Check rights for the material you plan to play: do not use a test as a substitute for permission, and do not assume that a track is safe because it is available in a music app.
- Run a private or unlisted test: YouTube for Artists advises testing a stream generally. Check that audio reaches the broadcast, the video behaves as intended, the request path works as described, and moderation actions have the expected effect.
- Watch for platform notices: confirm you can see YouTube Studio and live chat notifications while testing. Do not infer from a successful short test that a long-running stream is guaranteed to remain uninterrupted.
The cited setup and rights guidance does not establish a maximum continuous stream duration, archive behavior after a specific number of hours, or a 24/7 reliability guarantee. Plan operational monitoring and recovery with those limits in mind rather than assuming an unattended broadcast will run indefinitely.
Troubleshoot common setup problems
| Symptom | Likely issue | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live stream | The channel may not be verified, may have a live restriction, or may not have completed first-time activation. | Review live eligibility and current prompts in YouTube Studio. If this is the first stream, allow the activation time YouTube for Artists advises. |
| A YouTube Live chat request does not appear in playback | The request intake may not be connected to the playback client. The documented YouTube Music Streamer example uses Twitch commands. | Verify the tool’s actual supported request source and its connection to YTMDesktop. Do not assume YouTube Live chat is supported. |
| A requested song is blocked or removed | The track may be unavailable in the player, filtered by moderation, or unsuitable for broadcast without the required rights. | Check the player and queue controls, then confirm the recording’s broadcast permissions and any Content ID allowlisting requirements. |
| The live broadcast receives a copyright warning or interruption | YouTube may have detected third-party content; permission alone may not prevent interruption if the channel is not allowlisted. | Review YouTube’s notice and contact the label, distributor, or rights representative about permission and Content ID allowlisting. |
| A short test works but the 24/7 plan is uncertain | A successful test does not establish a continuous-operation guarantee or resolve duration and archive limits. | Do not promise unattended uptime. Monitor the broadcast and confirm applicable YouTube limits and your recovery plan before launch. |
Or let it run in the cloud
If your priority is keeping a pre-recorded YouTube stream running without leaving a computer on at home, StreamNeo runs the uploaded video from the cloud. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting from a camera, and it streams to YouTube only.
- Nothing has to stay on at home; StreamNeo keeps the stream running from the cloud.
- Every slot has one flat price for any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps; the video streams as uploaded, with no re-encode or quality tiers.
- It automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
- The first day is free with no card, one free day per account.
- Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. Other billing lengths are available; the product is the same on every plan, with only the billing length changing.
Cloud hosting does not grant music rights or create a YouTube Live chat request integration; clear the recordings you use and test any request workflow separately. Start the free day on StreamNeo.
