To keep prerecorded Hindi news bulletins running on YouTube, create or schedule a YouTube Live stream in YouTube Studio, then connect an encoder that plays your prepared bulletin feed using the stream URL and key YouTube provides. The encoder—not YouTube Studio—must handle the playlist or loop. YouTube’s setup guidance does not promise uninterrupted 24/7 playback, so plan for monitoring, recovery and local recording.
Before you start: check eligibility, rights and the feed
Confirm the channel can go live
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Its live-stream setup guidance also lists simultaneous-stream limits of up to 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. These are concurrency limits, not a maximum session duration. YouTube Live streaming setup
Clear the bulletin and every included asset
Obtain rights for the intended live transmission and any archive, including rights to footage, photographs, music, graphics and third-party clips. YouTube’s live terms require necessary rights and compliance with applicable laws and territory-specific licensing, registration, notification or approval requirements. YouTube Terms of Service
Permission to broadcast does not by itself make a channel eligible for monetization. YouTube’s monetization policies expect monetized work to be original and authentic, and say content should not be mass-produced, generic or repetitive. A feed that repeatedly plays unchanged bulletins can therefore carry monetization risk. YouTube’s guidance says borrowed material needs significant changes to make it your own; no particular channel’s monetization outcome is guaranteed. YouTube channel monetization policies

Prepare a reliable, compatible feed
Have the completed bulletin videos and playback order ready, and choose an encoder that can play and repeat that feed. YouTube’s general instructions cover connecting an encoder, but playlist, looping, restart and failover controls vary by encoder. Software encoding is supported; dedicated hardware is optional and is more relevant to higher-production setups. YouTube encoder recommendations
Create or schedule the YouTube Live stream
- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Create → Go Live.
- In the Stream tab, create a stream to start promptly, or open Manage to schedule an upcoming stream. Scheduling creates a shareable upcoming watch page and allows viewers to set reminders. YouTube Live streaming setup
- Review the stream details and settings in YouTube Studio. YouTube offers optional auto-start and auto-stop settings for compatible encoder workflows; confirm how your selected encoder handles those options, especially if you reuse a stream configuration. YouTube live-stream settings
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the stream. Treat the key as a password: anyone who has it may be able to send video to your channel. Do not publish or share it outside the people and systems that need it.
Configure the encoder to play the bulletins
- Open your chosen software or hardware encoder and enter YouTube’s stream URL and key in its YouTube or custom-server connection settings.
- Select the prepared Hindi bulletin feed. Configure the encoder’s playlist or repeat function to match your schedule; the exact controls depend on the product. If a bulletin ends and the encoder does not have another item or a configured loop, the stream may stop or show an idle output.
- Choose output settings that your encoder, source files and upload connection can sustain. Check the encoder’s status and YouTube’s incoming-signal indicators before the event; the YouTube setup guidance does not establish a universal preset for every source and connection.
- If the encoder offers local recording, enable it when you need a copy for replay or recovery. Otherwise arrange a separate local recording process and check that it has enough storage.
Preview, start and monitor the broadcast
- Set up the encoder well ahead of the scheduled start and send its signal before the event begins.
- In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, wait for the preview and inspect the picture and audio. Confirm that the correct bulletin is playing and that the stream is viewable from its channel or watch page.
- Check the public viewing experience on a phone as well as your monitoring screen. Verify that speech is audible, video is present and playback is not stuck or showing the wrong item.
- Keep watching the encoder and stream during transmission. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth headroom of 20 percent and testing a backup encoder where applicable. A stable connection and a backup plan reduce operational risk but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. YouTube live streaming tips
Plan for archives and long-running sessions
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, but a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. That is an archive warning, not a stated maximum broadcast duration. If a replay matters, keep a local recording rather than relying only on YouTube’s automatic archive. YouTube live stream archiving

For a continuous service, decide how operators will handle a bulletin ending, an encoder or connection failure, and any planned restart. YouTube’s general setup guidance does not specify a guaranteed continuous-loop duration or no-interruption behavior. If you divide programming into shorter scheduled sessions, weigh the handoff and monitoring work against the archive risk of a session that exceeds 12 hours; YouTube does not prescribe an ideal session length.
Choose the operating approach for your newsroom
| Approach | What it does | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Software encoder | Connects to YouTube and plays the prepared feed from a computer. | Confirm playlist and looping behavior, keep the computer and connection available, and monitor playback. |
| Hardware encoder | Provides a dedicated physical encoding setup; YouTube also supports software encoders. | Consider compatibility, operator familiarity, production needs and budget. Hardware is not required for a basic stream. |
| Cloud playout | Runs playback remotely rather than relying on a newsroom computer for the stream. | Check the provider’s recovery behavior, scheduling controls, terms and monitoring responsibilities before relying on it. |
Troubleshoot common failures
- No preview in Live Control Room: confirm that the encoder is running, that the stream URL and key match the selected YouTube stream, and that the encoder reports a successful connection.
- The stream starts but the bulletin does not advance: inspect the encoder’s playlist order and repeat settings. YouTube does not control the encoder’s loop.
- Viewers report missing or distorted video: check the encoder output and upload connection, then verify the result in Live Control Room and on a phone. Leave the recommended 20 percent upload-bandwidth headroom where possible.
- The broadcast stops unexpectedly: check whether the encoder, computer, network or source playlist stopped. Review compatible auto-start or auto-stop settings and test the encoder’s restart or backup behavior; YouTube does not promise a no-interruption stream.
- No automatic replay appears: if the broadcast exceeded 12 hours, YouTube says it may not have been captured. Use the local recording if one was made.
- Stream key may have been exposed: treat it as compromised and replace or reset it through YouTube Studio’s stream settings, then update the encoder with the new key.
Or let it run in the cloud
For prerecorded bulletins, StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service: upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The stream continues from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Each slot plays uploads as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it includes 10 GB of pooled storage per active slot, looping and playlists, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card.
