Turn on playlist repeat: YouTube will return to the first devotional video after the last one. Choose the playlist-level Loop or Repeat • Playlist control—not autoplay, which is a different setting.
Make a YouTube playlist repeat
On a computer
- Open a video that is part of the playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel on the right.
- Click Loop in the playlist box. YouTube will repeat the playlist from the beginning after its final video.
To repeat only the video currently playing, use the video-level Loop control instead. The desktop instructions are in YouTube Help.
On Android
- Start playing the playlist.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box under the video.
That sets the playlist to repeat continuously. Tap Loop again until a 1 appears in the icon to repeat only the current video. YouTube documents both states in its Android instructions.
On a TV or gaming console
- Select the playlist and start playing one of its videos.
- Open the playback controls with your remote or game controller.
- Select Repeat until the display reads Repeat • Playlist.

On iPhone or iPad
The YouTube Help instructions cited here do not specify a current iPhone or iPad button sequence. Look in the app for a playlist-level Loop or Repeat option, but do not confuse it with a control that repeats only the current video.
Playlist repeat, single-video repeat, and autoplay
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Playlist repeat | Returns to the first video after the last video in the playlist. |
| Single-video repeat | Plays the current video again instead of moving through the full list. On Android, the Loop icon shows a 1. |
| Autoplay | Controls whether a video begins playing automatically when an embedded player loads; it is not the playlist-repeat setting. |
For an embedded playlist, Google’s YouTube player parameter documentation says to set loop=1 to repeat the playlist from its first video. Support for looping just one video in an IFrame embed is limited; the documented workaround is to set loop=1 and set the playlist parameter to the same video ID as the video in the embed URL.

If the playlist still stops
- Check that you enabled Loop or Repeat for the playlist, rather than the current video.
- On a TV or console, confirm the control reads Repeat • Playlist.
- If you are watching an embed, distinguish the
loopparameter fromautoplay; Google documents them as separate controls.
