To keep a YouTube playlist repeating, open the playlist and enable its playlist-level Loop or Repeat • Playlist control. Then choose a video quality that plays steadily on the device. This works on Airtel broadband like any other internet connection, but Airtel’s name alone cannot tell you the speed or stability available at your home. Also, playlist repeat does not guarantee unattended playback all day: YouTube may pause and ask you to confirm that you are still watching.
Loop a playlist on your device
Playlist repeat and Autoplay are different. Repeat cycles the selected playlist; Autoplay starts another related video after playback ends. To repeat your chosen videos, enable the playlist’s repeat control rather than relying on Autoplay.
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist you want to repeat.
- Expand the playlist panel beside or below the player.
- Select Loop in the playlist box. This repeats the playlist. To repeat only one video, right-click the player and select Loop instead. YouTube’s playlist looping instructions describe the controls.
- If playback buffers or Auto keeps changing quality, open Settings > Quality and choose an available resolution. Keep the computer connected and attended: on the web, YouTube may show a “Continue watching?” prompt after 60 minutes of uninterrupted autoplay.
On a smart TV or game console
- Open the playlist in the YouTube app and start playback.
- Press down on the remote or game controller to reveal the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the status says Repeat • Playlist. Repeat • Currently playing loops just the current video.
- Open Settings > Quality and select a supported resolution. If the option you expect is missing, the source video, device, or browser support may limit available quality.
YouTube recommends a minimum connection speed of 7 Mbps for HD streaming on TV. This is YouTube’s recommendation, not a guarantee for any Airtel plan or a promise of stable playback in a particular home. YouTube’s TV troubleshooting guidance recommends checking speed near the TV, router range and interference, and reducing competing network use if playback buffers.
On a phone, tablet, or cast setup
On mobile, play the playlist and use the Loop control in the playlist control box. For casting, verify the repeat setting on the device actually playing the video; Autoplay settings can differ by device. For ordinary computer casting, the computer and TV or streaming device should be on the same Wi-Fi network. A phone or tablet can instead link to a TV with a TV code when they are not on the same Wi-Fi. See YouTube’s smart-TV and casting instructions.

- DUAL-BAND WIFI 6 ROUTER: Wi-Fi 6(802.11ax) technology achieves faster speeds, greater capacity and reduced network congestion compared to the previous gen. All WiFi routers require a separate modem. Dual-Band WiFi routers do not support the 6 GHz band.
- AX1800: Enjoy smoother and more stable streaming, gaming, downloading with 1.8 Gbps total bandwidth (up to 1200 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz). Performance varies by conditions, distance to devices, and obstacles such as walls.
- CONNECT MORE DEVICES: Wi-Fi 6 technology communicates more data to more devices simultaneously using revolutionary OFDMA technology
- EXTENSIVE COVERAGE: Achieve the strong, reliable WiFi coverage with Archer AX1800 as it focuses signal strength to your devices far away using Beamforming technology, 4 high-gain antennas and an advanced front-end module (FEM) chipset
- OUR CYBERSECURITY COMMITMENT: TP-Link is a signatory of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Secure-by-Design pledge. This device is designed, built, and maintained, with advanced security as a core requirement.
Choose quality and check Airtel connectivity
YouTube’s quality options depend on connection speed, screen size, the quality of the uploaded source, and browser support. Quality may adapt during playback; selecting a lower resolution can help if buffering persists. A missing resolution does not necessarily indicate an Airtel issue. For the official quality controls and factors, see YouTube’s video quality help.
- Measure or test the connection close to the TV or playback device, not only beside the router.
- Check that the device is within router range and reduce interference where possible.
- Pause heavy network use on other devices while troubleshooting.
- Check your own current Airtel plan details and actual speed; the plan speed and data allowance cannot be inferred from the Airtel brand alone.
Why playback may stop asking “Continue watching?”
Playlist repeat is not an unattended 24/7 playback guarantee. YouTube may pause with a “Video paused. Continue watching?” prompt after 30 minutes of uninterrupted autoplay on mobile, 60 minutes on the web, or 180 minutes on TV. The viewer has to confirm to continue. YouTube says the prompt is intended to protect watch history and help prevent data use when someone is not actually watching. YouTube explains the prompt and its timing.

- Dual-band Wi-Fi with 5 GHz speeds up to 867 Mbps and 2.4 GHz speeds up to 300 Mbps, delivering 1200 Mbps of total bandwidth¹. Dual-band routers do not support 6 GHz. Performance varies by conditions, distance to devices, and obstacles such as walls.
- Covers up to 1,000 sq. ft. with four external antennas for stable wireless connections and optimal coverage.
- Supports IGMP Proxy/Snooping, Bridge and Tag VLAN to optimize IPTV streaming
- Access Point Mode - Supports AP Mode to transform your wired connection into wireless network, an ideal wireless router for home
- Advanced Security with WPA3 - The latest Wi-Fi security protocol, WPA3, brings new capabilities to improve cybersecurity in personal networks
That prompt is separate from whether Repeat is enabled: repeat cycles the playlist, while the prompt interrupts playback until someone responds. Autoplay can also be configured separately on different devices; check the setting on the device playing the videos. See YouTube’s Autoplay help.
Troubleshoot playlist playback in order
- Confirm what you opened. Start a video from the intended playlist, not a standalone video followed by related recommendations.
- Check the repeat state. On TV it should read Repeat • Playlist; on computer, playlist Loop should be enabled.
- Try a lower quality. Select an available resolution manually if Auto playback buffers. Quality depends on the connection, screen, source, and browser.
- Check Wi-Fi at the playback device. Test beside the TV, improve its router range, reduce interference, and minimize other network use.
- Restart or update the app/device. Reopen YouTube; if that does not help, restart the device and check for software updates. YouTube also suggests clearing app cache for some mobile playback problems.
- Separate a TV-app issue from a connection issue. Try another supported device. YouTube also lists playing from a laptop connected to the TV by HDMI as an alternative when TV-app playback is stuck. An HDMI cable is only a way to connect the laptop to the TV; it is not required for looping, does not improve Airtel broadband, and is not a guaranteed Wi-Fi fix.
- Check Airtel details directly. Review your current plan information and measure actual speed near the playback device rather than assuming performance from the provider name.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is an always-on YouTube livestream rather than continuous viewing in the YouTube app, StreamNeo is a different option: it loops uploaded videos or playlists as a YouTube live stream from the cloud. You upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on; StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
