You can run a prerecorded Tamil songs playlist as a continuous YouTube Live broadcast with a local encoder or a cloud service. For 4K at 60fps, configure the encoder for 3840×2160, use YouTube’s recommended bitrate for your codec, and keep a reliable recovery plan. Before streaming, confirm that you have permission to livestream every recording and composition in the playlist: technical compatibility does not grant music rights.
Before you start: channel access, files and music rights
Enable live streaming
Encoder-based livestreaming requires a verified YouTube channel without live-stream restrictions during the preceding 90 days. Enable livestreaming in advance; first-time activation can take up to 24 hours. Check the current requirements and status in YouTube’s live-stream tips.
Establish rights for the entire playlist
Do not assume a song is cleared for a livestream because it is available on YouTube, included in a music subscription or purchased as a download. Establish permission for each composition and recording, including applicable territory, duration, monetization and platform conditions. The YouTube technical guidance does not determine whether any particular Tamil song is licensed for your use.
YouTube provides rights-management and Content ID settings for live content, but those settings do not grant a license. Review YouTube’s live-stream settings and resolve rights before scheduling a public broadcast. Monetization of a livestream is available to channels in the YouTube Partner Program; eligibility is channel-specific.

Prepare the playlist and a recovery plan
Use video files you are authorized to stream and arrange them in the intended order in your playback software or streaming service. Check that each file has usable audio and that the playlist can repeat without stopping. Decide in advance who will monitor the broadcast and how you will respond to an encoder crash, power loss, network interruption or YouTube disconnect.
Configure YouTube Live for 4K at 60fps
- Create the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. YouTube’s encoder setup guide describes the encoder workflow.
- Copy the connection details. Copy the server URL and stream key from Live Control Room into your encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it can send a feed to the stream. Regenerate it if it is exposed.
- Set the video format. Configure 3840×2160 resolution and 60fps. Select a video codec supported by your encoder and set its bitrate using YouTube’s recommendations below.
- Set the rate control and keyframes. Use constant bitrate (CBR) and a 2-second keyframe interval. YouTube specifies a maximum keyframe interval of 4 seconds.
- Configure audio and transport. YouTube recommends AAC or MP3 audio, 44.1 kHz stereo and 128 Kbps stereo audio. Use RTMPS if your encoder supports it; YouTube describes RTMPS as the secure RTMP option.
- Check the connection and preview. Make sure your upload connection can sustain the chosen bitrate with headroom. Run an upload-speed test, then test the complete playlist or representative content with both audio and movement. Check the Live Control Room preview, stream health and messages before relying on it for a continuous broadcast.
| Video codec | YouTube recommended bitrate for 2160p at 60fps |
|---|---|
| AV1 or H.265 | 35 Mbps |
| H.264 | 50 Mbps |
These are YouTube Help’s recommended live-ingest bitrates for 4K/2160p at 60fps, not a guarantee of the bitrate your connection can sustain. See YouTube’s encoder settings. If upload capacity fluctuates, a 4K60 configuration may become unstable; test under realistic conditions rather than relying only on a short or idle speed test.

Choose how to keep the playlist live
Option 1: Run a local encoder
A software encoder on a computer can play prerecorded files and send the output to YouTube using the server URL and stream key. This gives you local control, but the computer, playback software, power and network all have to remain available. Configure playlist looping in the software you choose, and test what happens when a file ends, the encoder restarts or the connection drops. Keep a separate recording if you need a local copy of the broadcast.
YouTube also supports standalone hardware encoders. Its verified-encoder guide lists the Blackmagic Web Presenter 4K as supporting streaming up to 2160p60, but it is an optional candidate, not a requirement. Confirm that the current product version, inputs and network requirements fit your playback workflow; a prerecorded playlist may not need a camera, microphone or capture device.

Option 2: Use a cloud service
YouTube’s verified-encoder guide also lists Gyre as a cloud-based service for 24/7 prerecorded YouTube streams and describes Full HD and 4K at 30/60 FPS. That is a vendor feature listing, not independent evidence of uptime. Compare playlist and file-format support, recovery behavior, archive options, cost and monitoring responsibilities before choosing any service.

Plan for a 24/7 broadcast and its archive
Keep the stream recoverable
A 24/7 broadcast needs more than a successful start. Monitor Live Control Room and the encoder or service, test the full path with a realistic stream, and decide how to recover after an encoder, power, network or YouTube interruption. YouTube advises preview checks, failover tests, a test stream and continuous monitoring in its live-stream tips. A failover setup should itself be tested rather than assumed to work.
Do not count on one complete 24-hour archive
YouTube says, “All streams under 12 hours will be automatically archived.” Its encoder setup page does not promise complete automatic archiving for a broadcast lasting 24 hours or longer. If a complete archive matters, use shorter scheduled segments or retain a separate local recording, then verify the resulting files. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.

Quick Recap
Troubleshoot common setup problems
- You cannot start an encoder stream: check that the channel is verified, live streaming is enabled and there are no live-stream restrictions in the preceding 90 days. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours.
- YouTube does not receive the feed: check that the encoder has the correct server URL and stream key, that the key has not been regenerated since it was copied, and that the connection can reach YouTube. If the key was exposed, regenerate it and update the encoder.
- The stream buffers or loses health: compare actual upload capacity with the configured video bitrate and leave headroom. Check for competing network traffic, then retest with the intended resolution, frame rate, codec and audio.
- The stream is rejected or does not match the intended format: verify 3840×2160 at 60fps, use a YouTube-recommended bitrate for the selected codec, set CBR, and keep keyframes at 2 seconds (no more than 4 seconds). Confirm the encoder is sending the settings you selected.
- Audio is missing or out of level: confirm that the playlist files contain the expected audio, select AAC or MP3, and check the recommended 44.1 kHz stereo and 128 Kbps stereo configuration. Listen to the Live Control Room preview during a test.
- The playlist stops when a file ends or the encoder restarts: check loop and playlist behavior in the playback software or service, and test transitions before going live. Arrange a recovery procedure for the encoder and network rather than assuming the playlist will resume itself.
- A 24-hour broadcast has no complete archive: this is not covered by YouTube’s automatic-archive statement for streams under 12 hours. Use shorter segments or record separately and verify the archive you need.
- A song triggers a rights claim or restriction: pause or end the affected content and resolve the rights for the specific composition and recording. Content ID controls are not a substitute for permission.
